"What!!!?" Adia screamed in horror as the doctor broke the news about her sister's condition 'what would she do now' Adia thought Addison was the only family she had left

"yes miss we really need to operate on her now as she has a little bit of time left" The doctor continued as Adia burped out loud, confused.

"Thanks doctor, I'll try my best to find the money and get back to you" Adia thanked the doctor full of appreciation.

She walked over to Addison's room as she found her still sleeping.

A tear dropped from her eyes as she couldn't watch her sister suffering,she had to do something real quick before things gets out of hand.

Then she remembered she wanted to get some test done as she's been feeling a little wierd lately, she has not been her self for the past few days, she hoped it was not what she thinks she is as she walked quickly to the test center to get done with the test before Addison wakes up.

" Here miss peters your test results are out" The doctor announced as she handed over an envelope to Adia as they were currently in the doctor's office.

"Thanks doctor,so what does the test say" Adia asked the doctor nervously as she took the envelope from the doctor as she hoped for the best to come.

"Well congratulations Mrs peters you're two weeks pregnant" the doctor announced smiling as Adia froze at the spot mouth ajar.

"Pre..gna..nat" Adia stammered as she kept looking at the envelope in her hands and the doctor repeatedly as she was so confused she didn't know if she should be happy or sad the moment.

"Yes pregnant" the doctor replied again smiling wondering why Adia was a little wierd.

"pregnant" Adia repeated again as she was still finding it hard to believe as she continuously rubbed her flat tommy, eyes wide like saucers, it was so skeptical to believe and the father was no other person than that man.

"Thanks doctor I'll take my leave now" Adia said as she tried forcing out a fake smile as she walked out of the office speechless as she still found it really hard to believe.

Adia was walking down too Addison's room absent mindedly as a voice broke her out of her own world

"Hey Adia" Cora called out waving at Adia as Adia waved back at her faking a smile at Cora.

"Hi Cora when did you get here?" Adia asked a little surprise that cora was at the hospital.

"Not too long ago I was passing by so I decided to drop by and say hello how's Addison?"

"She fine now"

"Ohk, what's that?" Cora asked pointing at the envelope Adia was holding.

" Oh this it's nothing, just some prescribed drugs for Addison that's all" Adia answered a little nervous as she quickly kept the envelope in her purse.

"Oh..k" Cora emphasized as she looked at Adia with doubt in her eyes as she felt something different in Adia.

" Come on Addison must have woken up now, let's go to her " Adia said as Cora just nodded as they walked to Addison's room as Adia tried avoiding Cora questions with flimsy excuses.

Adia stood close to the window in Addison hospital room holding her flat tommy sobbing silently as she thought of how to save Addison and now the unborn child as she didn't even have the slightest information about it's Father.

She stared at the stars in confusion how would she tell Cora about this, but she had already made up her mind about this, she had to save her sister at all cost, she just had to find the money, she'll save Addison and after Addison surgery and all she'll just leave to a faraway place to raise her child.

She cursed the night she went to that hotel she also cursed at the man who she feels raped her 'i'll have to be strong' she consoled herself as she cried Even more, she was broken out from her thought when she heard Addison waking up.

" So what do we have there" Seb asked referring to Rowan who was holding an ipad containing Adia's information

"Name Adia peters , she's twenty four years old, she's an orphan and lives alone with her younger sister who's sixteen years old and has been diagnosed with leukemia, her only friend is Cora Arthur who's one of us, I guess you remember her"

" One of us eei" Seb chimed in sarcastically as Rowan continued with his report

"Cora works as a manager in the hotel you both…you know, Adia works as an editor and works part-time at a cafe, she's currently trying to raise money for her dying sister and we kinda have a problem " Rowan concluded as he dropped the iPad on the desk.

"And what's that?" Seb asked as he sipped wine from the glass he was holding.

"She's pregnant Seb" Rowan replied

"and so" Seb questioned as Rowan watched him in bewilderment wondering how he's still oblivious of the problem at hand.

"She's carrying your child Seb" Rowan finally said after some minutes Seb spat out all the wine In his mouth.

" What do you mean pregnant, she can't be pregnant,we just had sex once" Seb said pacing round the exquisite office.

Rowan just watched him and Wondered how he could still not pinpoint the real issue here.

"Seb that's not a problem now, we have a bigger problem, she can't bear your child, she's human and you're a vampire, we are not like her" Rowan added as realization stuck Seb hard as he slumped on his chair.

" Come on Rowan,that can't be my child,it takes time for a vampire to father a child not to talk of a human and a vampire mating so it can't be possible" Seb said finding it difficult to believe.

" I guess you have to accept the truth and we need to do something about it immediately"

" call Ace and Arion over right now" Seb ordered as Rowan immediately called them over the phone.

This was a matter that needed to be dealt with caution as someone's life was on the line here.
