Lloyd Walker was a poor college student who had a crush on one of the top beauties in his school. He finally built up the courage to confess his feelings for her but was not only met with rejection but also got ridiculed for his lack of wealth.

As he was walking back to his place with embarrassment, a beautiful lady who referred to herself as his secretary asked to have a talk with him. Their conversation revealed shocking information about Lloyd’s background.

The Walker family was very wealthy and influential. The reason Lloyd lived so poorly was because of the decision his grandfather made for him after the death of his parents. Lloyd was made to grow up without the support of his family's wealth to prepare him as a worthy heir to the Walker family by going through hardships.

Although Lloyd's status quickly changed overnight, all is not rosy because he still has to prove himself worthy of the position of heir. If he fails, then someone else will be chosen instead. Now Lloyd will use his new-found status to crush all who ridiculed him and rise to claim his rightful position as heir to the Walker family.
