The photo shoot took less than twenty minutes.
The discomfort lingered much longer.
Ethan stood near the garden fountain just past sunrise, wearing a dark navy suit chosen by a stylist he hadn’t spoken to. His hair was combed back—too neat. The shoes were polished so sharply he could see the staff photographer’s reflection when he looked down.
