C4 Chapter 4

The boat hit the bank. Vendel sat up.

He must have slept through the night. He must have been lying down in the boat but he couldn’t remember doing so.

The lousy boat was leaking. He was soaking wet on the side he had been lying on. But it didn’t matter too much because the sun was shining brightly in the sky and his clothes would soon be dry. He looked around him
