C13 Chapter 13

Gabriel moved his stiff limbs. I’m freezing like a dog, he thought, which immediately reminded him of his dog back home and pained his heart a little.

He was awake, but the others were still asleep – at least the ones who needed to sleep.

He looked around. The ice glistened in fantastic, cold colours, and behind it the cliff was black and knotty. A small strip of sky was visible above him
