C1 Dwight 19

All the rich single men wanted to marry a wife. This was a universally acknowledged truth.

All the girls who had reached the age of marriage should hurry up and get married. This was the unspoken rule of the society.

...

"Buzz, buzz, buzz..."

Irene glanced at her phone. It was her best friend, Bertha.

"Bertha," Irene put on her headphones and answered the phone, "I'm driving. Give me two minutes."

Two minutes later, the modern flying car stopped by the roadside. Irene called back, "Bertha, did you find out?"

Daivet was her blind date tonight. She counted with her fingers. He was the tenth blind date.

"Your voice is so ancient." In order to make her relax, Bertha joked.

"When we do our job, we are very invested in it. After we finish, our minds are blank." Irene's expression was much more relaxed.

She was an interior designer. When she was designing, she would often have no distractions in her mind. Sometimes, she would even spend the entire night working on the design.

"About Daivet, I found out about his background." Bertha's tone was filled with disdain.

Irene's heart skipped a beat. "Tell me, right now, I have to be able to withstand drought, cold, and fall."

"Hahaha!" Bertha laughed heartlessly, then coughed and said seriously, "Daivet is indeed a car salesman. He is very vain and likes to act like a rich second generation. Coincidentally, he has the ability to drive a luxury car to pick up girls."

"He's from a small family, so he's not a slippery person. His sales performance is not that good, and his monthly salary is around four to five thousand yuan. He didn't manage to pick up any pretty girls. Other than that, he doesn't have any other shortcomings. He was just like you when he was a student, a top student!"

Irene was speechless. It must be his strong sense of vanity that covered up his other shortcomings.

Bertha giggled and added, "He is very handsome. He is definitely the best of the best. You will have a good time in the future."

"Don't tease me." A hint of disappointment flashed in Irene's eyes.

Bertha became serious. "To be honest, Irene, what are you thinking?"

"Do you know about my experience with blind dates? I have a phobia of blind dates. Sigh, my parents quarrel with each other over my marriage every few days. My neighbors and relatives all want to offend me over blind dates. They are all waiting to see me make a fool of myself."

"If you want to walk your own path, then let others talk about it. Only saints can do it. My mom said that if I don't get married at the end of the year, I won't have the face to live in the residential area anymore. In the future, I won't even be able to meet my relatives."

"It's so serious!" Bertha was so shocked that her tone changed, "Auntie, are you kidding me?"

Irene rubbed her forehead and said tiredly, "I also hope it's a joke. Once, she cried in front of me. I can't even find her husband."

Bertha was speechless.

"It's urgent to get married. I've decided that as long as I can live, I'll marry. At most, I'll divorce two years later. Anyway, I can support myself."

If she couldn't find a good man, then there was no need to waste her life with a scum.

Irene looked at her makeup in the rearview mirror and then took out a mirror and a makeup kit from her bag to make up.

Bertha silently lit a candle for her best friend. She could help with anything between her best friends, but she couldn't help her test her husband!
