C16 Her Husband's Name Was 'dwight

The man's dark eyes turned slightly and he said honestly, "Alright, I will only date my wife in the future."

He thought that Irene would say that she wanted to take revenge on him. His wife was even more pure than a little white rabbit. He had to protect her well in the future.

Irene glared at him. The man happily added, "I will only date my wife!"

Irene glared at him. In terms of mouth skills, whether it was kissing or bickering, she was slightly inferior.

Why didn't she realize that he was so shameless?

Irene suddenly reacted. They had only met twice, but their bickering now was like a couple that had known each other for a long time.

It was unknown if the man was too honest, or if Irene had crossed the line and treated him as her own person.

Being harmonious did not mean that everything was fine.

Irene pinched the marriage certificate and said with a frown, "If Mom knew that I was getting married, she would definitely beat me to death."

"Irene, trust me. With me here, your parents won't blame you. I will work hard to be a good son-in-law." The man smiled confidently.

Irene could not laugh. She sighed, "Forget it, let's just get married." She thought for a while and said, "Daivet, let's not tell our parents about our marriage first."

If they didn't tell their parents, they would have to live separately.

"How can that be? We are husband and wife, we must live together." The man frowned and firmly objected.

When Irene thought about living with a stranger, she could not help but feel a little scared. She gently bit her lips.

The man's heart was as soft as water, but he had to take things step by step. He suggested, "How about this? Let's get engaged for two months. One week later, you move out and live with me. Two months later, we will hold our wedding. This way, no one will be able to see through our relationship. You won't lose face."

He had already said all the good words, Irene tried to buy time for herself, "After a month, we will be living together …"

"Irene," he said earnestly. "There's no difference between a week and a month. We're married. This is an undeniable fact. If we get together earlier, we can get familiar with each other..."

Irene was reluctant to accept the fact that she was getting married, so she lowered her head and protested. She was bored and flipping through the marriage certificate.

Suddenly, she widened her eyes and looked up in disbelief. She gazed at the man with a pained expression.

The man frowned. Her gaze made it seem as if she had lied to her body and heart. In the end, she realized that he was a scumbag.

"Irene, what's wrong with you?"

"Daivet, show me your ID." Irene's voice was hoarse, as if she could cry at any moment.

The man was confused. He took out his ID and asked carefully, "Irene, what happened?"

"Don't talk!" Irene snapped from her throat.

The man closed his mouth and stared at her face carefully.

Irene compared the ID number on the marriage certificate with the ID number on her ID card. She then took out her phone and looked at the name on the phone, "Daivet." Her eyes suddenly felt a stab of pain and she bit her lips so hard that her lips turned white.

She dialed the number "Daivet." However, the other end of the line was still the robotic female voice saying, "No one is answering. Please try again later."

"Where's your phone?" Irene's teary eyes looked at the man.

The man seemed to have understood something. He paused for a moment and silently took out his phone for her.

Irene used his phone to call her. The number she dialed was not the number of "Daivet."

She returned the phone to him and pushed the car door open.

"Irene!" The man pulled her back in time.

"Let go, you liar! You are not Daivet!"

Irene hated her stupidity. She was so hot-headed that she even forgot about the fact that she was getting married in a muddle. She even made a mistake about the marriage partner!

"Irene, I didn't lie to you. I am Dwight. My ID card and my household register are all here." Dwight definitely would not admit that he had already realized that there was something wrong with the marriage.
