C6

Irene glanced at the Rolls-Royce logo at the back of the car. There was a big "R" in the middle.

Rolls-Royce.

As a driver, she definitely had to recognize this logo. If she saw it on the road, she would have to avoid it as far as possible. If she accidentally bumped into it, it would cost her more than the repair fee of the car!

She coughed and said, "I drove here. It's not too late now. Thank you, Mr. Moore. Goodbye."

"Miss Rodriguez," the man called out to her and paused for two seconds before he said seriously, "I'll treat Miss Rodriguez to a meal next weekend. Please accept my invitation."

Irene couldn't help but take a few steps back when she heard this.

The man raised his eyebrows again, puzzled. It was obvious that she was rejecting his suggestion.

Wasn't this the woman paying for the man?

Irene was thinking, Damn it, did she think that she was an idiot? Why did she still come? She was a vampire!

The man noticed that the woman was looking at him strangely.

"Uh, let's talk about it next time." Irene tactfully refused.

"I think Miss Rodriguez has misunderstood me." The man's cold voice contained a hint of oppression.

Irene's tactful excuse was stuck in her throat. After hesitating for a few seconds, she said bluntly, "Mr. Moore, my friend told me about you. I think it's better to be honest."

"You don't have to drive a luxury car here, and you don't have to meet in such a luxurious and expensive restaurant either. This is a huge pressure for us."

The man's mouth twitched. Why did he understand every word Irene said? But he was completely dumbfounded by the long paragraph of words.

"Miss Rodriguez, can you be more clear?" The man's intuition told him that something was wrong, and he frowned slightly.

"Let's put it this way. If we meet again, I hope you can ride a bicycle and not wear such formal clothes. T-shirts and jeans will do. The place to eat is at Xiangdu Restaurant, which is located at the east gate of XX University." Irene's words were sarcastic.

She was purposely hinting at Daivet. She knew his background. Don't think that just because you are a local that you are a big shot. Don't think that just because you are a slut that you are a CEO! She was a thirteen-year-old girl, so she was easy to trick.

As expected, the man's face stiffened. He seemed to have thought about it for a moment before saying resolutely, "Alright, see you at noon on the weekend."

Irene revealed a look of "So you are smart enough to be exposed by me." She smiled and said, "See you on the weekend."

Then, she glanced at the shiny buttons on the man's sleeves and said the only words she had ever praised the man on this night, "Your platinum cuff is pretty."

She turned around and sat in her modern Flying Sword. Without even looking at the man, she started the car and left.

The man lowered his head and stared at the button in confusion. Was his hearing okay?

Then, he smiled, revealing the first smile he had shown in three months.

The passing ladies were stunned. The stars in the sky, the bright moon in the sky, and the bright lights in the human world were instantly overshadowed by the man's smile.

The man noticed the gazes of the passersby and could not help but think of Irene.

Irene looked at him and nodded. She was a little special, but she was definitely not an idiot.

When Irene said "goodbye," he could tell that she would never see him again. At that moment, he suddenly felt reluctant to part with her. He did not know what she had experienced in her eighth and ninth blind dates.

The man felt a vibration in his pocket. He looked at it and answered with a cold and indifferent expression, "Frances, what's the matter?"

"How is the girl I introduced to you?" The woman's voice was full of ridicule.

"Yes, it's quite interesting," the man said lightly as he raised his eyebrows.

The woman paused for a few seconds, obviously feeling the man's joy. She let out a long sigh of relief and said in a shy voice, "I feel relieved that you like her."

The man raised his eyebrows slightly. He did not need anyone to worry about whether he was married or not. It was not anyone's fault either.
