C10 Magistrate office part 1

Lucas sent Evie home , Evie had asked him to drop her at the village entrance ,Evie could only comply and sat silently in the carriage.

The carriage stopped in front of Evie's little home ,just as Evie was about to leave she looked at Lucas .

"Lucas , if you are free tomorrow evening ,would you do me the honor of having Tea with me ?" Evie asked her light grey eyes looked hopefully at her .

Lucas looked at the little human before him , he jad not expected she would ask him out.

" sorry Vie but i have works tomorrow " Lucas politely rejected.

Evie wasn't the least angry , she looked up at him with a smile not as real as the one 's before , 'of course he might be busy ' "it alright , thank you for bringing me home safe" Evie bowed her head a little .

"it my pleasure Vie " Lucas said gently patting her head .

After Evie walked inside , Lucas closed the carriage door the gentle face he carried while he was with Evie , turned serious and cold . "To the magistrate office " his voice sounded cold and distant.

The coachman obediently turn the horse towards the magistrate office .

Lucas got down from the carriage ,his copper eyes looked indifferently at the small office , the environment was barely kept , torns of paper were scattered every where , the wood that was written "magistrate " was half broken and was barely swinglying.

Lucas took five steps and was already before the door to the magistrate office , he brought up his long legs and kicked hard on the door breaking it into particles.

inside the office sat a middle aged man behind a table with stacks of pepper , on his right arm sat a young beautiful of around age of fifteen , the girl looked sad and afraid .

The magistrate was boiling in anger how dare one of these villagers interrupt him , when he looked up ,his anger quickly shrunk and calm him arised ,he quickly pushed the little girl having her collide with harsh ground ,he stood up smiling at Lucas.

"sir welcome to hallthom , how may i help you "

Lucas stared at him his gaze cold and intimidating , "how long has the post office not been working "?

cold sweat broke from the magistrate's face he had not expected the question neither has he expected to see a council man , he could still recognize the golden badge giving to high councilors.

" ten months now "

At his reply Lucas's eyes darkened more , he smiled coldly and took steady steps towards him, he looked at the young girl that had shrunk to the side .

" what are you doing here "? Lucas asked ,the little girl on hearing his cold voice trembled

"my mother has been sick for three months , they are no physicians in the village , "she paused and looked at the Lucas "i came to him for him to help me ,get a physician from caltot ,but he requested for payment ,i told him all i have is five penny , he requested for one silver coin ,and said that if i can't provide it ......" the girls voice trembled as she continued "he asked for my body in exchange for mother's health "

Lucas scornfully looked at the magistrate ,"do you care to explain "

"sir she's lying i was barely checking her........." The magistrate voice disappeared having no reasonable excuse , before he could blink again he felt a sharp pain on his arm , he found his upper bidy pinned to the table .

"did you say you wanted to check her what again ?" Lucas asked putting pressure on the man 's hand , he looked at the young girl "would you like to do the honour ,or would you scramble away like a chicken "?
