I sat in the shadows, my eyes fixed on my partner, Kaida. We were in a secluded spot, far from the eyes and ears of third and unwanted parties. Our mission was clear: to bring down Kael and Akira, and take my rightful place as leader and for Kaida, getting back at the witch who killed her mother with black magic.
