I paced back and forth in my private chambers, my mind racing with thoughts of the Council's challenge and the weight of my responsibilities as Alpha. It had been two days since I accepted the deal, and the stress was already taking its toll on me.

The rain did not help, as it only gave rise to my hormones and I could see the slight bulge in my pants
