I froze in that instant as I wasn't expecting Nate to pick up his call.

It had been ringing for over a minute and I thought he wasn't going to answer it.

Thelma looked at me suspiciously and told me to speak.

On the other end, I heard Nate's voice, his manly voice, it sent chills all over my body.

I can't believe this is happening right now though.
