Lovelyn tried staying calm when she realized Richard was paying no attention to her pleas.

"I want us to talk" Richard said as he stared at her.

"Talk?" Lovelyn asked.

"Yes, I want us to discuss like two mature fellow" Richard said as Lovelyn looked away not beholding his gaze. Richard placed his right hand under her jaw lifting her face up to look at him.
