I don't know what came over me, why did I force myself on her? Why did I feel like I owned her an explanation? Why did I think I committed a great sin by sleeping with her? Why did I feel the need to protect her? Why did I believe my only response was to protect her? And most importantly, why did it feel like I had known her for a decade?
