I was sitting there in Mr. Green’s office while he was talking about something, but I couldn’t hear a single word that he said.

I was feeling numb, to say the least, as to everything he was saying all I could do was just nod numbly with my head.

The tears wanted to appear, but I was holding my breath, trying hard not to shed any.
