C2 Episode 2

Xayne marched out of the bungalow putting on her dark shades.

She was in a tight bodycon dress that shew her curves and had her little bag hung over her shoulder.

Her heels balanced her motion as she careful not to move fast.

She sat on the bonnet of the Ferrari Dino 246 GTS and took few selfie before moving for the door.

"Celestine". Her soft voice beckoned with her hand opening the door.

She got in scoffed seeing Celeste who was fast asleep on the driver's seat.

Xayne hit the horn and she jolt up hurriedly struggling with the seat belt.

"Don't hang yourself to death sleepy head, it isn't a bomb".

"How could you?". Celeste asked.

"Are you done or you wanna sleep for.....".

"Just keep shhh and let's fvcking move". She cuts Xayne sharply.

"I've been waiting here for the past one hour Celeste".

"Really? You're such a terrible lier, I haven't slept for......". Celeste was saying but paused on seeing the time.

"9am, what the fvck?".

Xayne shrugged and relaxed on the seat putting on her belt.

"Am gonna kill you one day Xayne". She whispered starting the ignition.

"You're never gonna find someone like me".

"Why would I ever need someone like you, just one reason?". Celeste asked as they drove off.

"Tell that to your grandma".

Luna High School was quite gigantic with rows of painted buildings at different point.

The wind was peaceful that morning as it blew.

A vehicle soon drove in and came to halt where other vehicles were parked.

"Are you sure anyone is at school, hello! ". Xayne called out after she got down the vehicle.

" Don't act like a jerk ". Celeste cursed pulling her along.

"It's 9am". She added.

"That's right". Xayne replied.

They walked past a few student at the hallway who fixed their gaze at them.

"Don't stare at me,warning you". She threatened.

They finally got to their classroom but the door was closed.

"Class in progress, thanks to you Xayne". Celeste said.

"Welcome babe". She replied and pushed the knob of the door down thereby unlocking it.

She slowly pushed it open and peeped in to the see a woman who was writing on the board with a marker.

"Clear, moving in!". Xayne whispered and tip toed in.

"Xayne! Xayne!". Celeste cursed under breath.

She was mid way to her seat when she heard her name and paused.

Xayne turned back slowly like a cat to see the teacher who was dropping the marker.

"What gives you the impression that you're invisible Miss Cruz".

And that was Mrs. Brown, the biology teacher.

She is of an average height, deep dimple and had that blonde brand of hair.

Mrs. Brown was a nice person but someone who hates indiscipline and detention was her regular call.

"Um... Our vehicle broke down and....".

"We're sorry Mrs. Brown". Celeste said moving in like a scared cat.

"This isn't the first time".

"It'll be the last, we promise".

Mrs. Brown exhaled heavily and picked her marker.

"Fall in".

"We're in already". Xayne whispered.

"Did you say something? ".

"Nope".

They found a vacant seat at the back and sat side to side.

"Miss Cruz come forward please". She ordered.

"She's such a pain in the ass". She told Celeste before moving forward where she was directed to a vacant seat at the first row.

"Hi". The Dude beside her waved but she stared at him like he was a piece of junk.

"Um Welcome to the fore front". He grinned.

"Have you swallowed your teeths before?". She asked.

"Um Just imagining it looks gruesome". He said laughing.

"Then keep mute or I'll make you". She threatened.

He swallowed the saliva in his mouth which was now hard as stone and turned to the board.

"We're at page sixteen Miss Cruz and I expect you to be there". Mrs. Brown suggested raising a book up.

"That big thing couldn't get into my bag so I think i left it". She stressed out slowly.

"You've become quite unserious, Miss Cruz".

"I'm Xayne, call me Xayne please". She said angrily.

"My bad, Miss Xayne pair with him for today but I won't tolerate that in my next class".

Xayne nodded slowly and turned to the dude who looked happy as he pushed the book to her desk.

She stared blankly at him and he cleared his throat.

"Hish!".

"On page sixteen as you can see there, it's the structure of a cell, the cell of a living organism, an animal cell ". She said and paused.

"You can clearly see the parts labeled out, the ribosomes, the golgi body, the nucleus....".

"The cell is really small but powerful". He said staring at her.

"So?".

"Miss Xayne can we have one class please?".

She turned to Mrs. Brown who was tapping the marker on her desk.

"Maybe you can also remind us, what's a nucleus, I remembered explaining that in my previous class".

"Nucleus?". She inquired.

"Yes nucleus, it's labeled there in your text". Mrs. Brown said and cleaned the writing on the blood.

"Nucleus". Xayne said and the class laughed loud.

"Yes Miss Xayne, Nucleus". She said quickly spelling it out on the board.

"Nucleus is the part of the cell which coordinate it's activities and....". The Dude was whispering but she stepped strongly on his toe and groaned.

"I don't know that". She replied.

The teacher exhaled heavily and dropped her marker.

"See me after the class, so we come to the end of today's lesson, good day". She announced raising her hands up.

"Xayne". She called out and walked out of the classroom.

"Hi, I'm Garry, I guess you haven't noticed me before, you sit at the back a lot". He said adjusting his spec.

She ignored grabbing her bag but held her hand.

Xayne turned back and sent a punch into his nose.

He fell from his chair to the ground causing everyone's jaw to drop down.

"Hey!". Celeste said and grabbed her shoulder from behind leading her out.

"Do you have to attack people always?". She inquired.

"He came at me".

"Everyone is trying to act nice so stop being repulsive especially at guys".

"All what I need is no one talking to me, me left in my own loneliness to the cruel world that took my parents away". She screamed.

Celeste held her hand tightly and massaged it.

"Listen Xayne, you need to move on, their death has turned you into a maniac who hates eveyone, you need to start loving people".

"The only ones I love were my parent, they're gone". She cried.

"Hey". Celeste said holding her face.

"I remembered what I did when my mom died, I tore the house apart everyday, looking for someone to blame, blaming eveyone for her death because no one could ever love me the way she did but I had to move on, I had to stop blaming anyone or anything, it makes you go crazy ".

" You have your Father,Celeste, don't act like you understand my pain, don't act like you understand how shattered I've become, they made me what I am, and now I have no one..

. ".

" No, you have me, you have Aunt Monica, you have a lot of people, you just have to open your heart to them ". Celeste was saying when they saw a tall dark skinned dude headed for them in a basket ball suit.

" And here comes your lengthy boyfriend ".

" We're gonna get you one ".

" Dudes are liers and mini devils ". Xayne said.

" And with this attitude of yours, you're never gonna get one because you're gonna beat him to pulp, day, night". Celeste sang loudly.

"Just go ahead lover girl". Xayne snapped and walked away.

"Hi babe". She heard the masculine voice and turned to see them kiss with Celeste stretching to meet his height.

"Hish". She whispered locating Mrs. Brown's office.

...... Somewhere In The Woods.....

It was dead silent in the woods and dark as the clouds had gathered together to pour out rain.

Suddenly all the creatures raced out of the hidings.

Birds flying out of their nets into the sky. Squirrels, Rabbits and other land creatures in the wood racing off.

Heavy thud could then be heard from far away accompanied with loud howl of something that sounded like a wolf.

Unannounced a teen boy who had the looks of a high school dude leapt out of the deep darkness.

He landed on the branch of a tree which snapped.

He had bleeding cuts all over his face as he looked back into the darkness before taking off.

His movement speed was quite inhuman as occasionally leapt over log of woods with his hands stretched forward.

Loud growl from behind echoed loudly as it got closer.

He turned back to look and mistakingly tripped over the root of a tree causing him to fall.

Even before he could think of getting up a huge hairy hand like that of a gorilla grabbed his feet.

"Tell us, Where's Shane?". The loud voices echoed from the darkness.

"I swear I don't know him, I don't know who's Shane?". He begged as he couldn't look into the eyes of whatever was in front of him.

"Lier, his scent is all over you, with or without your help, we'll find him". The voices echoed.

The hairy hand let go of him and vanished back into the darkness caused by the dark cloud above.

He staggered to his feet and made to run but then something huge and swift grabbed him into the darkness with his scream echoing all over the wood.

Another Dude who was tall in height could be seen listening from behind a tree where he was hiding the entire time.

And raising his head up his eyes were red and his teeth were quite not normal with two sharp long canine at opposite ends.

He wore his hood slowly covering his face and with one swift dash caused the leaves to rustle away.
