C136 Omar's Sanctuary Three(1)

I activated my spiritual energy to sense the Black Tower key, and the ball of light appeared once again. I hesitated for a moment. What about the hundreds of revived mages outside the space? How can we escape?

But the mages never attacked us, could it be that it was just an illusion of Omas?

After pondering for a moment, I decided to go out and take a look. At least my life is not in danger, I might have to escape by myself. Then, I will borrow the strength of City of Light to save Grace and Ennyah. Those grey eyes make me feel that they are not good people.

"I will go out first. If there is no danger, I will come back to pick you up!" I said to Grace.

Grace also thought of those resurrected vengeful souls. He hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

I dived into the mysterious vortex. After a brief moment of confusion, I returned to the top of the pagoda in Tower of Darkness. Once my consciousness recovered, I immediately prepared a defensive bone spell to prevent the mages from launching an attack.

The Tower of Darkness returned to its empty state, and those lifeless eyes disappeared. I carefully activated my spiritual energy to scan every corner of the Tower of Darkness. Indeed, there were no living creatures. However, that chilling cold air was still there. Perhaps this is the resentment of the vengeful souls.

I walked up and down the stairs a few times, but nothing happened. Thus, I confirmed my guess. These illusions came from Omas's spiritual world, perhaps he subconsciously thought... Those mages might be so lifeless after reviving, without a soul. This was the biggest fear in his heart, so much so that he would rather die than face it. But the mages finally did not revive, Omas's body was used by others. Who was that person? Was it related to the siege of Lut Gholein? If it was the same person behind the scenes, his goal would be revealed. Creating conflicts to weaken the various tribes, and then achieve his goal of not telling anyone. Now that Lut Gholein, Amazon, and City of Light were all in the game, who would benefit from these actions in the end? Arreat tribe? The Kurast council? Rogge?

I can return to that dimension with peace of mind. Grace and I looked at each other. I nodded and stretched out my left hand.

Grace held my left hand with his right hand and stretched his left hand towards Ennyah. Ennyah hesitated for a moment and finally grabbed Grace's hand. When I saw Grace's happy expression, I couldn't help but stare blankly. Ennyah has been rejecting Grace?

I brought Grace and Ennyah into the dimensional door and returned to Tower of Darkness. After we came out, the dimensional door slowly shrank and the light gradually dimmed.

"We have to hurry. There will be no light source in Tower of Darkness soon!" I hurriedly urged Grace and Ennyah to hurry down the tower, because I had always been wary of this place.

We ran down the tower. Halfway through, the dimensional door disappeared. The tower fell into darkness, and my heart began to race. The feeling of danger was still hanging over my head like a sharp sword.

I heard Ennyah's breathing become heavy. It was obvious that the little girl was more afraid in this dark environment.

"Ennyah, be careful. I'll hold your hand." Grace stood out to protect Ennyah at the first moment.

"No need. You should walk quickly in front." Ennyah rejected Grace's good intentions.

Grace was very hurt, so he could only remain silent.

"Grace, walk in front. Ennyah walk in the middle. I will cover the rear." I think this will make Ennyah feel a little more at ease.

I will stand still and wait for Ennyah to pass by me before following her.

"Ai! I am confused. I am a fire mage." Ennyah felt very embarrassed that she had forgotten about him. Phew! Tower of Darkness lit up. Ennyah raised two balls of flames in her hands.

With the fire, our hearts felt a little relieved. However, Grace and I were still a little nervous because the previous illusion was really terrifying.

After going down the tower, Ennyah quickly walked to the front and deliberately kept a distance from me. I couldn't help but feel apologetic in my heart, hoping that the madness in the illusion wouldn't leave Ennyah with any injuries.

"Zhang Loong, follow us back to the city! I still have some things I want to ask you. Thank you for your help today! Grace is very grateful." Grace warmly invited me to travel with him.

I think those materials are still in City of Light, so I have to go back. Even if Marina is already far away, I still have to forge the equipment that I promised to make for her.

Thus, I nodded my head.

Ennyah didn't say anything along the way and kept a distance from me. Even though Grace had called me by my name many times, she wasn't curious at all.

Grace said sadly, "It seems that Omas's fire has seriously shaken the foundation of the City of Light. It seems that the members of the Elder Council of Mages won't be able to survive. How are the casualties of the Church's guardians?" After the shock, Grace began to care about the disaster yesterday.

Ennyah walked in front. I couldn't see her expression, but this sentence had obviously attracted her attention.
