C99 The Return of the Wind and Rain(1)

Apart from the two wings that are larger, I have also wrapped all the top grade materials I obtained from this expedition into the Demon Dragon's skin. This journey can be said to be soul-stirring, but the rewards we have received are already sufficient. Now, we have to rush back to Lut Gholein, so we can't be in a bad mood.

Because of the plague in Lut Gholein, we have decided not to delay any longer. The warship has already sunk to the bottom of the ocean, so we can only take the risk to ride the Bone Wall back to Lut Gholein. According to Meshief's speculation, with our speed, if nothing unexpected happens, within two days and two nights, we will be able to return to the dock of Lut Gholein.

We found a new source of fresh water and prepared enough fresh water. I have created the Wall of Bones, summoned the Water Rock Demon, and called back the skeleton laborers who were strolling on the beach. The sailors also cut down trees to make some simple paddling tools and fishing equipment.

I carried Marina onto the Bone Wall and placed a bag of clothes on the back of her head. I tried to make her feel more comfortable. Then, I summoned the Bone Cage and fixed her and the materials on the Bone Wall. Marina's internal injuries were too severe and she was still relatively weak right now. It was not suitable for her to move too much. The Bone Cage could protect her body, so as not to affect her internal injuries.

The sky gradually darkened. Meshief personally guided the route. The sailors split into two groups to assist in summoning creatures to drive the Bone Wall towards the target. We once again drifted in the sea.

Marina had already fallen asleep due to her weak body. The days of running around made my eyelids feel heavy. I looked up at the sky, but there were no stars and stars. "Meshief, do you think it will rain? The dark clouds are very thick."

Meshief estimated the wind and said, "It's possible, but it shouldn't be so fast. You can take a rest first. If there are any unusual movements, I will wake you up."

I nodded, hoping to avoid this storm. Marina's internal injuries were too severe. If it rained, we wouldn't have any shelter. If Marina were to catch a cold again, her injuries would be even more troublesome.

Meshief handed over some clear water and I waved my hand, indicating that there was no need. I leaned against the Bone Cage and closed my eyes. The Bone Wall swayed in the sea, and the summer sea breeze gave off a slightly sticky feeling.

Fire! I haven't dreamt of fire for a long time. Ever since I started practicing dark magic, I rarely have that nightmare. But that never-changing dream came again. Talitha's incantation lingered by my ear. My body, which was about to break, flew backwards and passed Talitha's body. The dark soul of the Demon King left my body. That ferocious face appeared in front of my eyes. "Sleep!" Talitha's tone was surprisingly calm. My body felt a little strange in the intense pain. The raging fire filled the entire Temple of God. Talitha's long black hair fluttered in the sea of fire. As it fluttered, my body, which looked so weak and lonely, suddenly flew up involuntarily. This is Talitha casting a spell that allows her to move objects across space. Talitha turned around and smiled at me. She waved her right hand and said goodbye to me.

Talitha's parting eyes suddenly very clearly imprinted into my mind. There is satisfaction, reluctance, as well as a trace of sadness and mystery.

"Talitha! Talitha!" My tears could not stop flowing!

No, this is not the same as the script in the past. In the past, I have never deliberately deciphered Talitha's gaze. After that smile, I would always wake up painfully from a nightmare. After waking up, I no longer wanted to relive that feeling. But Talitha's eyes were now so clear.

Satisfaction, I can understand. That was the satisfaction after Talitha completed her final mission.

I can understand how reluctant I am to part with it. How could I bear to part with that lonely back in the sea of fire?

That trace of mystery might have been when Talitha placed a seal on me. Gift me an undying body. Why did Talitha throw my body onto the ground? To me, an immortal body by myself is the cruelest torture. If I can sink into the abyss with Talitha... I will be a thousand times, ten thousand times happier than I am now.

"Talitha! Talitha!" I woke up once again, cold sweat and tears dripping down my face. I allowed my tears to flow freely. Ever since my body became weak, my heart seemed to become even more fragile.

I didn't know when Marina woke up, but she was looking at me quietly.

"Hero!" Meshief did not know what happened to me and quickly came to my side. I lowered my head and waved at Meshief, signaling him not to get close. At the same time, he turned his face to the side to avoid Marina's gaze.

At this moment, bean-sized raindrops suddenly came and hit my body, giving me a slight chill.

I used my hand to wipe my face and turned around to look at Marina. She had her eyes closed and her expression was calm, as if she had never woken up.

"Marina!" I lightly called out but Marina did not react. Could it be that I had an illusion that Marina did not wake up at all? I felt that the possibility was not very high.

But the rain was getting heavier and heavier. Marina finally opened her eyes and complained, "Demon Dragon, why are you so unlucky? It is raining heavily."

I hurriedly wanted to create a Bone Wall to shelter everyone from the rain. Meshief stopped me, "Hero, now that the wind is blowing, we can't create something that can withstand force. Otherwise, we will be in danger of being blown into the sea."

I was stunned. Then what should I do? Marina's internal injuries were very serious. If she were to get cold, it would be troublesome.
