C10 The truth

Lana POV

I was sitting on the toilet seat from past half an hour, benting my head down, staring nothing but my own reflection on white tile's floor of toilet.

When I heard footsteps approaching towards the toilet I quickly get up and get myself out of the stall and wash my face and dries my hands off and then the door opened and tory stepped inside.

" Lilian, you are hiding here. I've been looking for you." She say's and she see's my solitaire face and ask me what is the matter with me?

" I don't want to talk about it."

" What happened? my sweet friend."

" Nothing."

" Okay, if nothing happen then let's go out we will have lunch together." she grab me from my arm and dragged me out of the nursing lounge and didn't listen to me for a second.

We both walked out of the hospital and we went to my car. She told me to go to my aunty seafood restaurant which was 25 mint's drive away from my hospital.

We drove there in my car and black pearl restaurant signed hanging on the 3 story building. It was the biggest restaurant out of the six chain. I pulled up the car in the parking lot.

We got off the car and make our way to the double door and we were greeted by Keith who has been working at the front desk for 2 years. He is good friend of mine.

" Welcome, Lilian and Dr, Tory."

" Thank you Keith can we get Strawberry-Coconut Water Slush."

" Of course, you can and do you want to show me your table."

" Oh, we will find one." I said to him and he smiles I swirl on my heel and caught tory staring at Keith.

" Tory, come on!"

I knew, she likes Keith but she'll never confess anything to me or to him but I know they way she looked at him it's something going in her head.

We sat down on the corner table and she looked at me, " Now tell me what's the matter with you?

" Nothing happened to me."

" Well, your face is clearly telling me. Are you gonna tell me or not?"

" Tory, I did something horrible."

" What do you mean? horrible?"

" Have you heard about the world renowned racer Anton Wood got in to an accident?"

" No!! Who's he? and how he related to you. Don't tell me you are his girlfriend? she say's suspiciously and I wished I would be his girlfriend and then he would not sued me.

" NO!! it's even worst then becoming his girlfriend."

" Spit it out then why are you making so much suspense.'

As I was about to tell her Keith brought our drinks. He placed the drinks on the table and say's," What you want have guys?

" 2 shrimp cocktail and make the sauce extra spicy."

" Two shrimp cocktail coming up in 5 mint's." he said and made his way to others diner's.

" Where we were at?"

" You were telling me something about a racer."

" Yeah, so yesterday he got in to an accident."

" How do you know about it? I thought you are not interested in racer staff."

" You are totally right! I'm not in to racers and never will be but this situation is way worst then you can think off."

" Really! I mean what occurred?"

" I was there when his accident occurred and I brought him to the hospital."

" I didn't know that he was in our hospital and you brought him and that's good why are you so worried then?"

I open my mouth...open it so wide my jaws creak. My lungs to draw air, now, I need air, need it now. But my airways ignore me. They collapse, tighten, squeeze, and suddenly I were breathing through a drinking straw. I closes my mouth and I purse my lips and all I can manage is a croak. My hands wriggle and shake. Somewhere a dam has cracked open and a flood of cold sweat spills, drenches my body. I want to scream.

" Ladies, your shrimp cocktail! Keith interrupted us again and I turn head towards him and said, " What is the best timing you have got and why don't you joined us. I was just telling tory that the accident of Anton Wood is happen because of me."

" What?? What did you say?" Tory asked me with wide opened eyes.

" Who's this Anton?"

" My sin or my hell."

" What do you meant by it?" Keith said.

I ran my fingers in to my hair's and wanting to scream...

" Dr, Tory you tell me who's this Anton? and what is she talking about? Keith asked her but she was in shock like me.

" Tell me you are joking Lilian?"

" Do I look like I'm joking?? how can I joke about this?"

" What is wrong with you? how this happened? give me details about it" She said and Keith sit next to her to process everything.

I took gulp out of my drinks and shove a shrimp in to my month because my stomach was growling.
