C19 She wasn’t there

She wasn’t there when I got home, even though I was sure she will be there. She told me she didn’t have any work that day. Then I found a note on the fridge door held with a fridge magnet. She wrote she had some errands to run and that she will see me later. I’m not going to lie it was very soothing having to read those words.

I was happier when she actually showed up with dinner
