C7 Discharge

Jai pov

The lady entered the room and kept the bouquet. She turned toward me, I was surprised to see her.

" Hi, how are you feeling?" She swayed her body seductively and moved near me. I scrunch my nose seeing her movements.

" Why are you here? " I was feeling annoyed by her presence. Kavya didn't like her presence and hid her face in my chest.

"Can't I visit you? Come on, we have been friends for so many years. " She spoke in a seductive tone. She came near me and bent to kiss me when out of nowhere my daughter moved my face to the other side. Natasha's face fell on the pillow.

"No." My doll shouted at her. "He is my papa. You can't kiss my papa. " Kavya hugged me possessively and peppered my face with kisses. Natasha was glaring at Kavya, she clenched her fists, and her nose was flaring. She composed her posture quickly.

" Baby, he is your papa. I just wanted to kiss him as he is injured and it will make him feel better." She tried explaining it but Kavya didn't leave her father.

"Hi, Natasha." Raghav's voice came. He entered the room.

" Bhai, there is good news. The doctor notified me that you would get discharged today. I have completed the formalities. Arjun bhai is getting fresh clothes for you. Come doll, let your dad take some rest." Rashad tried to pick Kavya.

" No chachu( uncle)." She jerks his hand. " Aunty will kiss dad ." She was looking cute with a pout. She had a frown on her head. I chuckled at her possessiveness. Raghav was laughing. Natasha's face dropped after hearing Kavya's words.

" Your precious daughter doesn't like me. But no worries, she will love me after I marry you." Natasha tried to caress her cheek but before she could even touch her, Kavya turned her face and hid it in the crook of my neck.

" Who the hell told you that I am marrying y? Listen for once and all, I'm not planning to marry anyone. I loved my wife dearly and won't ever give her place to anyone. Is that clear? You are just my friend so behave like one." Anger rose in me hearing her incoherent words. Her face was red with anger. She stomped her foot angrily and went out. She bumps into someone. On seeing the person she frowns and leaves without acknowledging his presence.

"What has happened to her?" He questions no one in particular. Raghav smiles.

" Nothing much, give me my clothes. Doll go with your Raghav chachu for some time. Let me change my clothes and then we will head home. " I gave my doll to Raghav who in turn took her to the garden. Arjun helped me in getting change. I felt refreshed after wearing my clothes. Due to the fracture in my leg, I was unable to walk hence Arjun helped me with the wheelchair.

I was rejuvenated with energy upon seeing my mansion, my home. My parents and Rashi with all the working staff were there to welcome me. Mom did my aarti( an auspicious ritual in which a sacred earthen lamp is burnt ). Dad and Maa gave their blessings. Their eyes were brimming with tears. Rashi hugged me.

My room was shifted to the ground floor. Ma took me to the room whereas Raghav helped me in shifting to the bed. My doll was clingy and didn't want to leave me. Ma let her stay with me.

A week has passed since I arrived from the hospital. My hand cast was removed. I was able to do a little bit of my work. I was doing some work on my laptop when I heard a knock on the door.

" Bhai, today I'm going to Jaipur. I enrolled myself in a management college to pursue a degree in hotel management. Since I would be joining you in our hotel industry, I thought of having professional knowledge in the field." Raghav came near me and bent to take my blessings. I was happy that my younger brother was becoming responsible. Just then Rashi entered.

"Bhai, even I'm going with Raghav. I'm going to do a one-year diploma course in tourism and then I will join you." Rashi came and sat near me. My little angel is going. I felt a tug in my heart.

"You both are going to leave your injured brother all alone. Just a few days back you both had come back and then again you both are leaving. That is not fair. " I pouted and faked anger.

" Big bro, we had delayed it already. We were supposed to join last week but now we are not left with any option as the head of the department issued a warning. We are helpless and I don't wish to use our family influence." Raghav sat near his brother and tried to come clean. He was sulking at the fact that he was supposed to leave me and Kavya. Especially Kavya, in the last fortnight, during my stay in the hospital both have become inseparable.

"Come on baby brother, I was just joking. You both would stay in my apartment and would use my car. It has everything. I don't want to hear any excuses, like last time. It is final. " I patted Raghav's shoulder and hugged my sweet little sister on my other side. They are like my two hands. I love them so much. My heart filled with grief at the thought of their going away but this is how life goes on.

Jaipur Third person POV

Raghav and Rashi were welcomed by the driver and the caretaker allotted by Jai. They were driven to Jai's apartment where they settled for the day. They were supposed to join the college the next day.

The next morning after finishing their morning routine and then devouring the scrumptious breakfast, they departed for the college.

Their college was a little far off from their apartment. To pass the time Rasi switched on the music system. In no time they reached college.

Boom, the voice stilled them for a few minutes. Raghav covered his face with his palms, realizing that the sound came from his car. His car collided with another car that was trying to park at the same spot.

" Oh, no, big bro would kill me if he comes to know about it. What should I do?" Raghav's thinking was disrupted by the knock on the window. Seeing the person on the other side his mouth opened and closed but no sound erupted from his mouth.
