CHAPTER 4:CURE AND CULTIVATION

"Grandpa I would like to take a look at some books in the library, but I don't know where it is," I said to grandpa when my brothers leave. Shock and disbelief is written all over his face because Duchess Leona never read before. The servant started to whisper because of what I said.

Grandpa cleared her throat to warn the servant before talking. "Since you would like to read, we will go together. I will accompany you," even if grandpa is shock and can't believe of what I said he still agree to accompany me at the library. Grandpa stood up and started to walk, I follow him without asking.

It took us a minutes to reached the library. When we reached the library grandpa talk.

"All right, go pick whatever books you like. I will be in my office if you need me," grandpa said and gave me the key then leave.

"Bye grandpa," I shouted to grandpa while waving my hands even of he can't see it. When I no longer see grandpa I face the door of the library and open it.

"Damn! This is unbelievably amazing," my jaw drop and amazement is visible in my face as I look around. This is awesome.

She is now in another world and her knowledge is not enough for Medicine. Specially there are more things about medicines that is not familiar with her. It is better to increase her knowledge.

When I saw the book I've been looking I started to read it without delay. After a minutes of reading a book I already found the medicine I've been looking for to cure the poison. I returned the book I use to read wherever the place I took it and exited the library. I run in grandpa's study room to tell him what I found out.

When I reached the door in grandpa's study room I open it without knocking and I saw grandpa talking to someone I don't know.

Grandpa! I already found the medicine I need to cure myself," I shouted loudly when I open the door. Grandpa immediately ended up the talk to someone I guess one of his trusted man and told him to wait outside.

"Really? What did you found out? What is it?" Grandpa asked excitement can not be hidden in its inquiry tone.

"What do you need?" grandpa asked me immediately.

"I already listed the medicine I need. I just need someone to get the ingredients for me grandpa," I explain to grandpa and show him the paper wherein I listed the medicine's ingredients I need.

Because of what I said grandpa called his trusted men and told him to get all the medicines listed on the paper. He took the paper and bow to give respect before he leave.

"Hahaha. I knew you are something and you are not worthless like what they are saying. I'm so proud of you princess," Grandpa said his eyes are shining like a star at night and happiness is visible in his voice while he embraced me tightly. Tears is visible at the corner of his eyes out of happiness so I also hug him to show him that everything will be alright.

While the trusted man that grandpa were sent have not arrived Duchess Leona instructed the servant to prepare the bathtub and the medicine she needed According to her instructions.

When the medicine arrived and they finish preparing it according to my instructions.

"You can go now and don't let anyone in unless I say so," I took the medicine and said to the two servant to leave me alone. They bow to give respect and close the door before they leave and told grandpa the news.

The medicine is already prepared in a small bowl like what I instructed.

I took off my clothes and get inside the bathtub filled with water then drink the medicine in the bowl. After a minutes have passed when I drink the medicine I feel hot like I am burning in the sea of flames. I'm sweaty even if I am at the bathtub until I can't take it anymore.

"Ahhhhhhh! Hahhh," I can't help but to shout because its hurt and so hot and I vomited blood. Sign that the poison is already out of my body.

I closed my eyes and hut everything around me then feel my surrounding. I immediately open my eyes when I can sense the energy around me. I need to tell this to grandpa.

I immediately finish taking a bath then find grandpa to tell him that I can already feel and sense the energy around. I found grandpa at the garden sitting and resting. I run to grandpa and I can't help to embrace him out of happines.

"Grandpa I can sense spiritual energy around me," I happily said to grandpa shock is written all over his face when I told him the good news.

"Really? What color did you sense?" Grandpa asked happily.

"What is the meaning of its color grandpa?" I curiously asked grandpa I want to now everything.

"In the Cultivation of the immortal the first level is the spirit gathering realm. Gathering spirits to generate techniques. Spiritual energy differs according to their elements," grandpa lead off I did not say anything and just listened to grandpa.

"FIRE elements is RED in color, so you absorb the red points of light during training. Whatever color of light you can sense that's the type of spiritual energy you will train in,"

*FIRE=Red

*WATER=Blue

*EARTH=Brown

*AIR=Green

*DARKNESS=Black

*LIGHT=White

"What if you can sense all elements grandpa?" I curiously asked grandpa.

"Two elements and three elements are Spiritual Masters. They are very rare. If there so happens to be one. He or she would be the subject of intense scrutiny from. If someone can sense all the differently colored lights that person is an all elements master and this kind of person comes along once every ten thousand years or so," grandpa explain.

"Anyway, what is your spiritual enery princess? What color did you sense?" Grandpa asked happily his eyes is twinkling.

"Grandpa, I can sense all the energy," I said to grandpa. His eyes went big like its ready to pop out shock is written all over his face while is mouth is wide open.

"What? Princess listen to me. You need to keep it a secret for your safety. Only use one of your ability and since our family is fire attributes just use fire elements," grandpa said nervously while looking at our surroundings making sure no one heard.

"Okay, grandpa," I said to grandpa while smiling and he hug me in response. "Hahaha. I knew you are something and your not worthless. I'm so proud and happy for you Princess. We need to tell this to your brothers," grandpa said happily while laughing. "Let's celebrate," he added his hand is on my shoulder while we are walking inside the house.

"Grandpa, I hadn't been able to cultivate for the past fourteen years. It will no doubt cause troubles now that I can all of a sudden. It's better if we keep this to ourselves.

"You seems like a new person after recovering from your injury. You're much sensible now," grandpa said while patting the back of my head.

"Looks like it's time to give it to you," grandpa said while we are walking at the study room.

Grandpa press the books at the cabinet using his spiritual energy and a secret cabinet open. He took a small box from their and gave it to me.

"Your dad left this behind. He said to give it to you once you're able to cultivate," grandpa said then gave me the box.

"Open it when you're alone in your room," grandpa added.

The core of Cultivators techniques were Spiritual Energy and and Qi. The Qi was everything. Literally. Everything is made out of qi with different kind of attributes like fire, water, earth, air, darkness and light. At the same time, Spiritual Energy was a kind of qi that could be openly manipulated through various scriptures and techniques.

Cultivators use Spiritual Energy of the world to enhance their power. At the same time, enlightening of the qi allowed them to understand various of aspect of the qi more deeply, thus allowing greater control and strength over both the qi and spiritual energy.

"What is it exactly that has to be kept in the box so mysteriously? I couldn't get it off my mind the whole night," Duchess Leona asked to herself when morning come.

"Whatever it left by my dad I have to open it no matter what!" Duchess Leona said to herself then open the box.

When she opened the box there's a letter, a map and a ring inside the box. She open the letter and read it.

After she read the letter she took the map and observe it. "Dad also says that this map is important and mustn't be disclose to others," Duchess Leona said to herself but looking at the map there's not one single hint on this rage piece of paper. "What the hell do I do with this? He should at least tell me what map is this?" Duchess Leona added she can't figure out the map. Sighing she put down the map and observe the ring next.

Dad says this is an extremely rare interspatial ring that was passed down through generations, and can only be use by the masters it select using drawn blood.

Duchess Leona immediately began to bit onto her finger waiting for her blood to slowly seep out and gather.

Once there was enough blood that gathered on her wound she then dropped a tiny but perfect amount onto the ring just like what the main character did in the novel she read before. As soon as she did, once the blood dropped and landed perfectly onto the ring, did a sudden change soon began to occur.

The ring immediately sucked the blood into it like it was a thirsty beast wanting liquid to replenish its energy. It swirled the liquid around countless of time within the gem that was soon accompanied by a bright ray of light that started to shine brightly throughout the room.

It only lasted for about a few minutes as it slowly subsided a dim down eventually. Turning the surrounding atmosphere back to normal.

Somewhat confused at what just happened while observing the surrounding, it took her awhile to realize what it is.

"This isn't any type of ring, this is an interspatial ring that allows you to store anything you want and to retrieve the item you store in,"

Looking at the ring, Duchess Leona notices how it looks different from before.

When she didn't drop her blood previously the ring look a off silver and was quite dull in color while the stone look faded out. Only after now when she dropped some pf her blood did it transform into a beautiful shining ring as the stones shines bloody red, truly it was beautiful. Duchess Leona exited the interspatial ring and decide to explore it next time.

"Karen, Rachel, I'm going to cultivate in isolation. Nobody disturb me," Duchess Leona said to her two servant. "Yes young lady," they both answer and bow to give respect before dismissing themselves.

Inside Duchess Leona's room she was currently sitting at her bed with her cross legs. Duchess Leona meditated and found out that she was at the 6th rank Body Tempering of the Foundation Realm. All of her brothers are all either Intermediate Saint or the Sky Realm.

Sighing, Duchess Leona tried to cultivate, she circulated the qi (energy in the air) but something unexpected happened. The qi suddenly rushed into her body as if trying to out run the other. Duchess Leona's body was unable to withstand too much qi and tried to stop the qi from entering her body but it was as if the qi had a own conscience and rushed in even more.

Anyone who can saw this endless amount of qi entering a person's body would be stunned. Duchess Leona suddenly coughed up some blood and then all the qi immediately stopped entering and instead circled around her body.

When Duchess Leona open her eyes, there was a sticky black substance coming out through her pores. She immediately meditated and found that she has actually broken through to the Early Heaven Core of the Heavenly Core Realm. Duchess Leona was happy and also wanted to get rid of the black liquid on her body.

"Karen!" Duchess Leona called one of her personal servant.

Karen was standing outside and hearing her young lady calling her, she quickly entered.

"Young Lady, what can I do for you?" Karen bow as a sign of respect then asked. Karen knew that her young lady Duchess Leona has changed.

"Prepare the water, I need to take a bath," Duchess Leona said.

"Yes. Young lady, I will get servants to pour water in," her maidservant answer.

Karen look at her young lady and saw Duchess Leona's clothes were dreached in black liquid. "She must've broke through," Karen thought. Karen went out and brought some servants to pour water. After warming up the water she also help Duchess Leona undress.

Duchess Leona was uncomfortable with someone touching and undressing her. She was after all a former assassin and was used to be alone and do everything herself. However, her heart warm at the situation because she have no one to lean on before.

Karen has seen her young lady's body multiple of times but can't help to be amazed everytime. Duchess Leona's snow like skin was soft and smooth without any scars or blemishes anywhere even of she's always being bullied. It's too bad they are hidden in a man's clothing. Karen quickly regained her composure and help Duchess Leona into the tub.

Duchess Leona was enjoying and relaxing the massage of Karen. Duchess Leona was surprised when she found out that Karen and Rachel was at the 6th rank Body Tempering of Foundation Realm. All of the other servant were at the 1th or 3th rank Martial Beginniners of Foundation Realm.

Duchess Leona got out and was dress in green rob. Duchess Leona left her bedchamber and went out to the main hall. She wanted to make some changes.

"Karen, Rachel, get all the servants here," Duchess Leona said.

"This servant will get in done," after curtesying, Kean and Rachel said in unison the went out. Duchess Leona could hear their voices from outside calling everyone. Karen and Rachel went inside and waited with Duchess Leona for everyone to come. Duchess Leona waited for two hours before everyone was gathered.

"Greetings to young lady!" Once everyone was gathered they all greeted Duchess Leona.

"Karen, cane those who arrived at twenty times and Rachel rewarded those who arrived early ten silver taels,"

"This servants will get it done and will have to asked young lady to wait," Duchess Leona's personal maids said then bow as a respect.

"Karen has a great memory and knew everyone in the young lady's courtyard. She wrote the names of the ones who arrived late and same as Rachel. Rachel wrote the names of the ones who arrived early on a different paper. Those who arrived early was relieved while the one who arrived late was panicked.

Everyone knew that their young lady now is different. They were even more anxious now and was worried that their young lady will hold grudge when they disrespect her.

Duchess Leona waited for fifteen minutes before everything is done.

"Young lady, everything is completed. Does young lady has further instructions?" Karen and Rachel said and asked at the same time. Karen was more surprised when their young lady wanted to punish and reward like this.

"There's nothing else. Everyone is dismissed," Duchess Leona said. Everyone was afraid that they will be punish so they left in a well mannered way. Duchess Leona laughed at her heart at their cautious manner.
