C9 Chapter 9:- The Secret Plan: Mission to Stop Ameer Taahir

In the previous chapter, you read that the mysterious old man takes Ali and his friend Junaid to his room to answer their questions.

He asks them to look at a picture hanging on the wall, and as soon as they see it, their eyes widen in shock.

Now moving forward…

(Upon looking at the picture hanging in the room, Ali and Junaid’s hearts start pounding faster, as if a long-lost secret has come alive before them.

The picture shows the same old man… but along with him, Ali and Junaid are also present!)

Ali (shocked): "This… What is happening? How is our picture here with this old man?"

Junaid (doubtfully): "Could it be that we… already knew this old man?"

Mysterious Old Man (in a serious tone): "Ali and Junaid! I told you before, sometimes what is in front of you is not reality.

And pictures never lie. This is not magic; you must accept it as the truth."

Ali (seriously): "I beg you to tell us the secret of this picture and about the special sword 'Al-Amaanah.'

Please answer all our questions. We will always be grateful to you."

Mysterious Old Man: "You will get answers to all your questions."

(Just then, Sheikh Hamza arrives at the door.

His face reflects deep concern.)

Sheikh Hamza (hurriedly): "Elder sir! Bad news. Ameer Taahir is setting out on a journey next week with his men to search for the special sword 'Al-Amaanah'!"

Mysterious Old Man (worriedly): "This is very bad news. If that sword falls into the hands of the tyrant Ameer Taahir, it will be disastrous."

Ali (determinedly): "If Junaid and I can help in any way, just tell us. We will do whatever is needed."

Mysterious Old Man (after some thought): "Ali! I have a plan, but it is extremely dangerous."

Ali (resolutely): "I am ready to take that risk.

If this is the only way to stop Ameer Taahir, then I am prepared… even if it costs me my life!"

Mysterious Old Man: "You and Junaid must infiltrate Ameer Taahir's hideout and steal the map that leads to the special sword 'Al-Amaanah.'

This is the only way to stop Ameer Taahir from embarking on his journey."

Junaid (worriedly): "But some of Ameer Taahir’s men recognize us! How will we get inside?"

Mysterious Old Man (smiling): "You need not worry about that."

Junaid (confused): "But how? They will recognize us instantly!"

Mysterious Old Man: "Ameer Taahir’s two captured men, who are currently our prisoners… they will help us."

Ali (surprised): "But why would they help us?"

Mysterious Old Man: "Ali! You and Junaid will disguise yourselves as those two men and enter Ameer Taahir’s hideout to steal the map.

Without the map, Ameer Taahir will never be able to reach the sword."

Junaid: "But we don’t even know the way to Ameer Taahir’s hideout!"

Mysterious Old Man: "Do not worry about that. Sheikh Hamza will guide you there, as he knows the route."

Ali: "Alright! When should we set out, disguised, for Ameer Taahir’s hideout?"

Mysterious Old Man: "Tomorrow evening. But be careful, no one should suspect you. If even the slightest suspicion arises, you will be caught."

Ali (firmly): "We will do exactly as you say. I promise that I will bring back the map from Ameer Taahir’s hideout."

Mysterious Old Man (satisfied): "I have full faith in you, Ali. I am certain that you will succeed."

Junaid (hesitantly): "But what about our questions?"

Ali: "Junaid! You are still worried about questions? Ameer Taahir is preparing to find the sword. We must do everything possible to stop him!"

Mysterious Old Man (smiling): "Well said, Ali! This is what I expected from the last heir of Azamgarh Sultanate.

As for your questions… once you bring back the map, I will personally answer all of them."

Junaid (apologetically): "I am sorry."

Mysterious Old Man (smiling): "No problem, Junaid! Now, it's late at night. You should rest. Tomorrow evening, you must leave for Ameer Taahir’s hideout."

(Ali asks:)

"How much time do we have to retrieve the map?"

Mysterious Old Man: "You have one week.

After one week, Ameer Taahir will set out on his journey to find the special sword Al-Amaanah.

You must get the map before that, and you must be extremely careful. Do this mission in such a way that no one suspects you."

Ali: "We will do exactly as you say. We will bring back the map within a week."

Mysterious Old Man: "Now go to your room and rest. Tomorrow, Sheikh Hamza will instruct you on what to do and what not to do."

(Ali and Junaid go to their room.)

Junaid (seriously): "Ali! This is a huge responsibility."

Ali (determinedly): "Yes! And we must fulfill it. If Ameer Taahir reaches the sword, it will be disastrous. We must bring the map before that happens."

Junaid (seriously): "We must stop Ameer Taahir from setting out on his journey at all costs."

Ali: "Let’s talk about the rest tomorrow. Sheikh Hamza will explain everything to us anyway!"

(Then Ali and Junaid fall asleep.)

(The darkness of the night begins to fade as the first rays of the sun pierce through the sky.

Ali and Junaid wake up, and after having breakfast, Sheikh Hamza explains to them everything they need to do at Ameer Taahir’s hideout and what they should be cautious about.)

Ali (confidently): "We will follow your instructions and ensure that no one suspects us."

(The mysterious old man arrives.)

Mysterious Old Man: "I hope Sheikh Hamza has told you everything?"

Junaid: "Yes! Sheikh Hamza has explained everything to us."

(The old man hands them a set of special pins.)

Mysterious Old Man: "These are anesthetic pins. If you prick someone with one, they will lose consciousness for a while.

The same type of pins were used on you by Ameer Taahir’s men when you were at Sheikh Hamza’s house.

Take these with you in case someone recognizes you at the hideout."

Ali: "Thank you very much for these. We will surely take them."

Mysterious Old Man: "I wish you both luck on your journey. I will see you again once you bring back the map."

Junaid: "Does that mean you are going somewhere?"

Mysterious Old Man: "Yes, I am going to the city for some work."

Ali: "What if someone recognizes you in the city?"

Mysterious Old Man: "No one knows me there. I am a stranger to them. Besides, I will be in disguise."

After Junaid says:

"Now we will return only after taking the map, and then we will meet you."

The mysterious old man blesses Ali and Junaid and then leaves. Ali and Junaid return to their room.

Once inside the room, Ali says to Junaid:

"Junaid! We have to leave this place after noon to reach Ameer Taahir's hideout."

Junaid (seriously): "We must do exactly as Sheikh Hamza has told us."

Then Ali says:

"Speaking of Sheikh Hamza, he also mentioned that Ameer Taahir's daughter lives there too!"

Junaid: "Yes, you are right! And Sheikh Hamza also told us that Ameer Taahir's daughter is not happy with her father’s actions.

She is a kind and noble-hearted girl."

Then Ali says:

"I also want to meet that girl!"

Junaid (jokingly): "Oh! I didn’t know that. Have you fallen in love with Ameer Taahir’s daughter?"

Ali: "Junaid! You have started joking too much! Ali only loves his mission, and that mission is to bring back the map from Ameer Taahir's hideout."

Junaid: "Ali! That’s exactly what I expected from you!"

Ali (changing the topic): "Stop talking so much now. We have to leave for Ameer Taahir's hideout after noon.

Get some rest first, because we don’t know how long it will take to reach there."

(Ali and his friend Junaid take some rest. Time slowly passes.)

It is now past noon. Ali wakes up, but Junaid is still asleep.

Ali calls out to him:

"Junaid, wake up! It's already past noon."

Hearing Ali’s voice, Junaid wakes up.

As soon as Junaid wakes up, Ali teases him:

"You were the one saying that I have fallen in love with Ameer Taahir's daughter, but were you the one dreaming about her just now?"

Junaid (sleepily): "Oh man! I made a mistake by saying that to you. Please forgive me!"

Ali (laughing): "Hurry up! We are getting late."

(Ali and Junaid prepare to leave for Ameer Taahir's hideout.)

Sheikh Hamza: "Ali and Junaid! Are you ready for the journey?"

Ali (determinedly): "Yes, uncle! Junaid and I are both ready to leave."

Sheikh Hamza (seriously): "The journey to reach there will be very difficult, so be careful and support each other."

(With that, Sheikh Hamza, Ali, and Junaid leave the mysterious old man's house to reach Ameer Taahir's hideout.)
