Najmah's pov.

Sited before me was a grumpy man who I was told was the yarima who had come from daura in other to meet me his soon to be wife but he hasn't said a thing. the only thing he has been doing was to frown "he such a grumpy person."

"Asalamualaikum" I finally decided to speak because I can see that he's not going to make any attempt in speaking so why not kill my ego and speak up.

"Walaikisalam" he said calmly as he took his head up to meet my eyes. I must say he is a very handsome man. he's tanned skin with curly hair which showed even with his zannan bukar cap still on, Masha Allah.

"I actually don't have much to say to you" he said.

"Me too" I said slowly as I fiddled with my fingers.

" I'm Haidar" he said slowly and I just nodded before speaking .

"I'm Najmah" I said as I avoided his gaze for it was daring. he seemed angry over something, he hasn't smiled since he came. even when he greeted the sarauniya he didn't smile. he's weird.

"Najmah, I really don't want to ruin your life with mine so I'm politely asking you to refuse to this marriage" He said rather threatening than politely. if this is his way of being polite, I don't want to see his rude side.

"I've already said yes" I said shyly with my eyes stock to my hands.

"Its not too late to say No" he said calmly and I raised my head up to meet his eyes.

"You don't understand, my father is so happy that I've accepted this marriage. and I don't want to ruin his happiness" I said dishonestly, I don't care about ruining my father's happiness. I have plan's up my sleeves and if I don't marry him. I will not have the power to do what I'm planing.

"I also don't want to ruin my father's reputation that's why I agreed to come here and that's why I'm politely asking you to say NO" he said through gritted tooth that's to show you that he's getting pissed off.

"Well there's nothing I can do" I said while getting up on my feet and so did he.

"OK, suit yourself but don't blame me for what comes next" he said and walked away leaving me in awe. I don't know what's wrong with Mr grumpy but for all I know, I don't care because with his power and status I'll take Jibrin down. he is the soon to be king making me the Queen in power.
