C15 Bridget Greene

Sitting in a nearby garden with Akashore next to me, it’s pretty peaceful. Watching the animals all around us was unimaginable, I never felt this much happiness at all in all of my lives. Never.

“I can tell you like the garden. It’s a part of the world that you were brought into.” Akashore said as he held my hand.

“Yeah, but something feels different here. Like deja vu.” I said. Then a girl’s voice chimed in. The both of us turned around and we saw a young woman standing there. Her blonde hair was matte, her eyes had a deep ocean blue in them. Everything seemed different but the reason why it was different was because--.

“Akashore, you finally brought Lady Greenwood back.” My mind went blank.

“Lady who?” I asked. The young woman became quiet then looked at Akashore.

“She really doesn’t remember, now does she?” Asked the young woman. Akashore shook his head.

“I know I’ll remember soon, I want to remember who we were with.” I said. Akashore then stood up and looked at me.

“Let’s get back inside, we need to talk.”

Standing up by the front door, we looked at each other and we smiled at each other.

“So I guess you’re the same person that I knew long ago before losing my memories. But even though I already knew you, we might as well introduce ourselves once again as I’ve become someone different. My name is Michael, it’s nice to see you...again.” I said to Bridget. Bridget smiled and shook my hand.

“It’s nice to meet you once again Michael, but now there is something you need to know though.” Bridget said, then sitting down across from each other.

“First off, my last name is my maiden name. Tom’s last name was at one point Greene, but our Father saw Tom’s very soul so he cast Tom out. Then came Robinson.” Explained Bridget, who then looked at Akashore and then looked at me with a serious expression.

“Allen Greene is our Father and Patriarch of the Greene family. There’s one thing though that happened before we were able to lock up Tom in prison before.” As I looked at Bridget, I gulped in fear and tried to stay calm and focused on Bridget.

“Our Father disappeared the day before we captured Tom. Everyone doesn’t know what has happened, but I know what really happened. Tom killed my Father.”

******

Tom. Killing his own Father? looking at Bridget, she’s quiet and calm.

“Why would Tom do this? That was his own Father.” I asked as I looked at her in confusion. Akashore looked at us in silence. I guess this wasn’t a shocker to them like it was to me. Maybe it’s because I forgot about what I had already known about Tom and his view of life.

“Tom is well...Special. He doesn’t know how to feel nor has a heart. We’ve lived many eons with this as parts of who and what Tom really is.” Explained Rich, who then looked at me.

“If there’s a girl that Tom thinks is pretty or wants to be with, there’s two things that he will choose to do.”

“One: He will stalk them to a point where Akashore will have to step in and deal with him in an appropriate manner. Then you have the one other option.” Said Rich.

“What’s the other option?” I asked.

“He’ll kill them in his own personal slaughterhouse and eat them.” Akashore placed his hand on my shoulder.

“I’m not letting him near you, but once you remember who you really are, I’ll help you be able to protect yourself when you find yourself about to fight against the enemy at hand. I promise Mike, I promise.” Akashore said as he smiled.

“I wouldn’t listen to a fool who couldn’t kill me in the last millennium war.” Said Tom. I looked up in alarm. Akashore then looked at me as he tilted his head.

“What’s wrong?” Asked Rich, who I have a feeling knows what had just happened here.

“I thought I heard his voice.” I answered. Akashore just kept silent from my answer.

“What did he say, Mike?”

“He said I should listen to you since you didn’t kill him in this last ‘Millennium war’. What’s this war that he’s talking about?” Akashore’s eyes went from calm to a demonic form of hostility.

“I’m going out Bridget and killing your Brother.” Akashore said and as soon as those words spat out like green vomit from ‘The Exorcist’ movie from the 70’s Rich sped over and snapped his neck. Falling down, and knowing that he’s going to not make extremely rash choices with what Tom said about that millennium war was a good move on Rich’s part.

“Thanks Rich.” I said. Rich sighed and lifted Akashore then tossed him on the couch to lie there like he was being punished.

“He’s just pissed off because so many things had happened during the millennium wars that you’ve lived in, I can see there will be another one approaching soon. Shit’s really hitting the fan in this round. But don’t worry Mike, if it does happen in the future, I’ll do my best to protect you.” Rich said smiling. I nodded then looked back at Bridget.

“How come I heard Tom’s voice though Bridget? is it like a power to do it?” I asked. Bridget nodded.

“It’s a form of telepathy, but the difference between that and telepathy is that his powers can lead you to think he’s closeby and in order to capture his enemy, he leads his enemy towards a place that they feel safe. Like here for instance.” Bridget explained. Oh ok.

“How can I figure out how to avoid this situation again?”

“It takes patience.” Bridget giggled.

“Rich, don’t snap my neck again.” Ordered Akashore as he got into a sitting position and looked at me and Bridget.

“Akashore, don’t get near Tom. he’s just going to win in this fight when it comes to the message he gave to Mike.” Akashore nodded, the three of us know that he’s still pissed off over what I told him and what Rick did to keep him from making incautious choices with this conflict between us and Tom. He needs to think before he acts.

“Mike, I just need you to be safe.”

“I know Akashore, but you need to find a way to control your temper so you don’t get yourself into danger as well.” Rich nods in agreement.

“You never think before acting as a decent leader. This is why Akasha had to leave and find someone who’s not going to abuse their powers and control her every move. But I bet you never told Mike, the guy that you say you love” Akashore jumped at Rich and it didn’t even make any impact on Rich.

“You stupid bastard, you know that’s not true!” He yelled. Rich groaned and pushed Akashore away. Bridget just sat there in silence and coughed into her hand. Looking at me, she smiled warmly and then took my hand. I feel happy for the fact that she’s here to help. I know in the end I’ll remember who and what she was to me.

“Akashore has things that aren’t brought up yet and I know you’ll remember soon. Very, very soon.” Bridget said to me. Hmm, I wonder what these things are.

“I trust in your judgment.” I said.

“By the way, what kind of abuse did that guy Derek make me go through? Akashore said at one point that he abused me. But I have doubts about it.” I said to Bridget. Bridget’s expression showed irritation and both her and Rich’s eyes moved over to Akashore.

“If I had a nickel for every time you lied about my own Son, I’d be like Father. Filthy rich and wearing solid gold clothing.” Rich said hissing at Akashore. Akashore just stood there and then looked at me.

“Ok Mike here’s the truth; Derek never hurt you in any way. He loves you and he may not see you as the person that he once loved and still loves, but he’s still there--.”

“I still love him Akashore.” Said Derek as he appeared behind Akashore. Derek then looked at me and smiled.

“It’s been a long time since I last saw you Mike, it’s been so long.” Said Derek.
