C16 Derek Bloodstone

“Derek.” Said Rich, smiling as he then becomes silent. Derek then walks around Akashore and turns over to Rich.

“Hey Dad, long time no see.” Said Derek.

“How come you look so familiar?” I asked.

“Because we were together in the past. I’m not surprised about how Akashore’s been lying to you, the man’s just all bark and no bite.” He said. Yeah, I’m starting to see that.

“Mike, you’re seriously going to believe what Derek said is true?” Akashore asked.

“He has a mind of his own Akashore, so back off.” Said a girl from behind. Turning around there stood a young woman, probably around my age. She had soft blue eyes, skin that was pale as a ghost, her blonde hair was just as pale as her skin. Then finally she was wearing a simple white spaghetti strapped dress. Looking into my eyes, she smiled.

“Hi, my name’s Akasha. I’m A Shore's ex as I guess you could call me.” Said Akasha in an awkward tone to her voice. Huh, I thought she’d be just like Akashore. The two of them are definitely opposites in more ways than one.

“My name’s Michael, but you can call me Mike if you want.” I said introducing myself. Then a sudden growling came from behind me.

“Akashore, stop acting like a child and grow up. I’m not trying to manipulate Mike like you’ve been doing, you’re honest on something’s but overall when it’s relationships, family and friends, you need some serious learning skills in being honest.” I then turned around and Akashore was silent and then vanished. Akasha sighed and sat down next to me.

“He’s just having a quiet fit, don’t worry as he does love you he just needs to be honest on some of the things that he has brought up to you. Don’t worry Mike.” Akasha said. Derek coughed into his hand and went into deep thought.

“Derek, what’s on your mind?” I asked. Derek then looked down at the floor.

“It’s nothing, don’t worry.”

********

As we sat inside the cabin, I’m just wondering how bad I felt for acting the way I did before Akashore left. Derek just looked at me with a bizarre expression on his face. Something’s up and I need to know what.

“What’s wrong?” Derek blinked his eyes like I took him out of a never ending daze.

“I told you before Mike, I’m fine.” Snapped Derek. Ok there’s definitely something on his mind, otherwise he’s just on his monthly cycle. Standing up, I walked to the door.

“I’m hanging out in the garden. I’ll come back later”

Sitting in the garden, I start wondering about where Akashore went to calm down from that argument yesterday. As I sat there, I felt a hand on my shoulder. Turning around, I see Rich standing there.

“If you’re wondering about where Akashore is, he’s just asleep inside.” Rich said then getting up we walked inside.

Walking in I go straight into the bedroom where I catch him drinking rum from the glass bottle. He then stopped and turned his eyes over to me.

“Hey.” Was all I could say. Walking over, I sat down next to him and looked down at my hands.

“I’m sorry-.” I said but Akashore then hushed me.

“I’m supposed to be sorry. I know there’s several things that I’ve been hiding from you, but those things aren’t what you think.”

“What’s the connection between me and Derek? Was it true about Derek abusing me? and how did he abuse me?” I asked. Akashore then took my hand.

“When you two were together, he gave you grief over your clan and becoming head of your family. The night of your twenty-first birthday. You were announced not only as the head of the family, but as the first pure blood of Greenwood with the rarest blood.” Ok so what did he do though as a form of abuse though?

“But you haven’t answered the one question though, how was he abusing me?” I asked just wondering when he’s going to bring up what was going on with me and Derek. Looking at me, Akashore groaned.

“Derek abused your blood when he drank it and he was just acting like a pig. He wasn’t a real man. All he had thought was an indecent personality.”

“That’s why he was acting so differently. He kept looking at me with his eyes that turned to almost pitch black. But can you continue?” I asked. Akashore nodded.

“The Night when you turned twenty-one and had received the title of being the matriarch of your family, Derek had then left you for Lillian because of the fact that you were at a higher class than he was in.” That night, I ended up going through the same thing with Akasha.” Akashore said then became quiet.

“What the hell…”

“That night was when I found out Akasha was cheating on me with Rich. Rich just wanted to make a point of letting me know that Akasha wasn’t my true mate and he said that he himself knew he wasn’t even Akasha’s real mate. But I digress on that.” Said Akashore

“Both you and I bumped into each other that night and well.”

“We ended up sleeping together that night.” Looking at him in shock, is that what really happened…?

“I know you might be shocked, but it’s the truth. Until you regain your memories once again, I just don’t want you near those psychopaths. Please just keep yourself by Rich’s side as we work towards remembering who and what you really are?” Asked Akashore. I nodded and kissed him on the cheek.

“I understand.”

*******

Leaving the bedroom, we get caught in Rich’s sapphire blue eyes. He smiled and clapped his hands as Akasha and Derek just looked with fury in their eyes.

“Oh finally! now you two are making up, thank God!” Exclaimed Rich as Derek looked at both me and Akashore in disgust.

“I told him some of the things that brought the two of us together and the things that happened on his birthday.” Akashore explained. Derek then started to growl.

“Why don’t you just quit it, Michael isn’t ready to remember.” Said Akasha, who is getting irritated from this conversation.

“You have blood on your hands Akasha, so much that it shows that you want to get away with murder. I’m still your King my dear and I’m not letting you screw around with my mate again.” Warned Akashore who was ready to get up and kick her ass. Akasha then stood up and left quietly. Rich groaned out loud and looked at Akashore.

“Well, at least we’re on the same page with Mike’s journey to remembering his past. Now don’t you agree, Akashore?” Derek asked. Looking at him, I’m just ready to smack him. What Akashore said about Derek abusing my very power and blood, why should I be friends with him?

“What’s wrong with you Mike? you seem irritated.” Derek is one step closer to…Akashore stood up and took Derek by the shirt.

“Try acting your age Derek because I’m sick of changing your baby diapers.” Hissed Akashore as he pushed Derek away from him. Derek turned and looked at me.

“I’m not letting you remember your past and who we really are to you.”

“I can already see how much of an arrogant pig you are that won’t stop picking on people that have more class than you. Being a leader doesn’t mean you tell people to kill for you, torture your enemies and anything else you might think. I want peace and you don’t, nor will ever understand true love, trust, peace and respect is.” I explained then placed my hand on Akashore.

“Let’s hang out in the garden, I know Rich and Bridget will take care of Derek on their own.” I said smiling then looking at the two of them, Rich smiles at me with true love in his eyes.

“I thank you for having faith and trust in dealing with Derek, but I already know how to take care of my own son. I’ll talk to you later.” Said Rich then flashed out of sight with Derek. Bridget looked at us, she tried to show a serious expression but too late as she began to giggle.

“He’s one over toasted pop tart.” Bridget said. I looked at Bridget and grinned.

“Well, I’m not happy with a burnt poptart, and aside from that I have a bizarre way of eating them.” I explained. All Bridget did was roll her eyes then vanished without a trace only leaving me and Akashore alone.

“Well let’s get out and smell the roses.” Said Akashore as he chuckled.

As we relaxed in the garden, Akashore held me in his arms. Everything feels like heaven. Never did I know what true love and friendship feels like. Akashore leans his chin on my shoulder and smirked.

“Feels like heaven, huh. I never really paid much attention to heaven, but you’re my heaven so the actual heaven doesn’t mean anything.” Said Akashore.

“You truly abuse your powers.” I say giggling.

“Yes and you abuse your own powers over me.” Chuckled Akashore.

“Yeah, I guess you’re right.” I said laughing my ass off. Yeah and I see Akashore as he sees me; Heaven.

“Don’t forget I still have power to make you my pretty little doll!” Shrieked out Tom. Those words caused me to almost scream out in fright. I looked around and there was no one there. Akashore was looking all around too. How can Tom do this? Did Bridget lie about Tom being put into prison? I’m scared and I don’t know what to do. Tears dropped down from my eyes and Akashore went over and wrapped his arms around me.

“Don’t worry, it’ll be ok. I promise Mike. I promise on my very power as King.”

“Don’t make empty promises Akashore, it’s just going to end up killing you too. But not in the way that we’d like to see happen.” Said Bridget as she looked at us from afar.

“Don’t piss me off you son of a bitch. At least I know which side you really were on in the end. But then again, what’s Tom’s real ability? Because he’s been non-stop harassing Mike. what are the plans that you, Tom and your servants have against Mike anyway?”

“We’re not here to hurt Michael. We just want to see how he’s doing.” Said the bloodthirsty Devil. The Devil that had just spoken himself was none other than; Tom Robinson himself.

“Well hello Michael. It’s been so long since I had seen you as a pretty little young woman. But now if I may, let me reintroduce myself since it’s been so long since I had seen your beautiful self. My name is Thomas Greene Robinson, but just like before and forever always, you can just call me Tom.”
