C17 The Return of Tom Robinson

Thomas Greene Robinson: First man to make living and breathing human puppets. No choice but to fight against their own allies. What are they, you ask? they’re known as ‘Hollow Men '. Looking at Tom and avoiding eye contact because I’m scared to see more of what this monster is made from.

“My name is Thomas Greene Robinson, but you can call me Tom, now who is this lovely man that I’m standing in front of?” His eyes were cold and filled with a bottomless pit of silent terrifying screams that began to spill out. Tom just growled at me, I guess I have no choice.2h1

“It’s not nice to not introduce oneself. Now who are you?” Ordered Tom. Looking down at the ground, I guess I’ll reintroduce myself.

“My name’s Michael Barren, just call me Mike if you want. I really don’t care.” I answered, just wanting my life to be spared by the higher powers. Tom then walked over to Bridget. Turning around, he looked straight at me and smiled wickedly.

“Remember this dear Mike, I’ll be here till the very end of your life. That day will come when you become my Queen.” Tom said then vanished. Bridget looked at me with disturbance from her very soul, if she even had one.

“Until we meet again, be prepared for a fight between you and I, Michael Barren.” Said Bridget then vanished as well. I took a long, deep breath and then looked at Akashore. He may have mind reading abilities, but he has no clue on my emotions. The emotions that I’m feeling are different. The fear was faint, and then the other side of the coin; rage. Ice cold rage. As I tried to control my emotions, Rich showed up in the blink of an eye. Literally speaking if I may add.

“Hey Akashore, are you and Mike ok? I sensed Tom was here so I came as quickly as possible.” Asked Rich. Then the two of them looked at each other in concern and then looked at me.

“Not that I’m trying to be nosey or anything, but how are you dealing with seeing Tom for the first time even though you don’t remember about your past?” Rich asked. I just stayed silent and walked back into the cabin.

“Mike.” Said Akashore in worry. I’m just not sure what to do. My anger, my rage--the fear was no longer there in my heart. What kind of monster am I? As I looked into my half finished cup of coffee, I saw that guy Robert Blackwood in the reflection of the coffee.

“Don’t worry so much Akashore, Mike’s just going through emotional issues. But Mike, why don’t you tell us how you feel?” I looked up and Robert was right in front of me. Placing my cup of coffee down, I finally answer Robert’s question.

“I just feel fear, but there’s this dark side to it. Like I just wanted to shred Tom into pieces. Am I a monster, Akashore?” Akashore gasped from my question and walked over and sat beside me.

“You’re no monster Mike, and even if you were I’d always love you.” Said Akashore. He then kissed me on the side of my face. Rich then coughed into the palm of his hand. He’s got something on his mind. I’m just going to not ask.

“I saw your powers as an original Mike, it’s pretty rare too and I never saw this in all of creation.” Said Rich who then walked over and poked at my forehead with his index finger.

“With Akashore’s permission, I’ll be helping you awaken your powers and learn how to not only control your powers but as well as helping you gain control with your emotions. Ok?” I looked at Rich and smiled.

“That’d be great. But um, Rich?” I said.

“Yeah?”

“You’re an amazing friend and I want you to know that I’m grateful to know that we could help each other out. Thanks.”

“Mike?” Said Akashore as he waved his hand in front of me.

“Are you ok?” Akashore asked. Looking at him, I nodded my head.

“I’m fine, I just have several things digging into my skull and it's causing me to get stressed out.” Akashore just sighs and sits next to me.

“Don’t worry, if you have any problems I will help you get through them, I promise.” Said Akashore as he smiled and kissed my forehead. He’s cute like a kitten, so nice.

“You’ll never get anywhere if you keep listening to his empty promises. Never!” Shrieked Tom. My heart stopped immediately and stood up in alert as I started feeling insane. Where the hell is he? What are his plans? How can I defeat him when I don’t have anything to fight him with? Sitting back down to try and calm down, I turned my eyes over to Akashore.

“Sorry, I just thought I heard something.” I explained. Akashore just looked at me in dead silence.

“He’s good at messing with people’s heads from telepathy. Just ignore him.” Akashore said as he patted my head.

As I lie in bed, I hear the slamming of the door.

“You have no right to go near my mate Rich, I’ll die before you touch him!” Shouted Akashore. This is great, another problem with the two of them. Getting out of bed, I walk into the living room and not even two seconds of me walking in.

“Well, sounds like you’ll have to explain this time eh baby Brother?” Rich says as he waves his hands over to me.

“What’s going on here?” I asked. Akashore just kept quiet.

“Michael, your mate hasn’t exactly been honest about your road to remembering your past. But I have no business saying. Tell her Akashore, maybe he won’t leave you immediately.” Akashore just chuckled.

“Fine Richard, I’ll tell him.” Turning around and looking at me dead center into my eyes.

“I don’t want you to remember who you really are, and if you want to keep on fighting for this to happen I’ll just leave and never return.” Akashore explained. What?

“Why Akashore? I need to remember who I am, remembering who the person that I once was.” I said just wondering why he’s being so controlling over my past. Akashore then groans and walks to the door.

“I’m leaving, don’t bother going out and go on looking for me.” Akashore growled. With me and Rich standing there, he finally breaks the icy silence.

“Whatever happens Mike, I know that you’ll be stronger. Day by day, you’ll know your past and I’ll help by looking into ways that can help you with this.” Said Rich. I smiled small and walked over and stood in front of him.

“Even if it’s one memory, I’ll be happy after each and every moment a memory comes back to me.” Richard looked at me with something that I never saw in all of my years of existence. His eyes were of pure love and comfort.

“There’s something I need to tell you, Rich. something I never told anyone.” I said then walking to the nearby table and sat down.

“There’s this elderly woman that’s been in my dreams for as long as I could remember. She’s got the aura of an angel and her eyes were of unconditional love and understanding.” I said. Rich walked over and sat beside me.

“Do you know who she is?” I shook my head.

“No, but the last time I saw her in my dreams, she said that I’ll always be in her dreams. But that’s about it.” I answered.

“Well Mike, I guess we’ll have to search for her then.” Rich said as he stood up and led me outside. Wherever Rich’s taking me, let’s just hope it’ll be a success.
