IRIS LOU POV

Time passed by I am here in the largest Hall of the palace to await The arrival of the devinson family.

Devinson family came from Italy where they live and they are one of the respected people there because they also have a connection with our Family which is Ephraim family.

I'm just sitting here and I'm wearing A white dress and my little crown on my Head ever since I'm not used to wearing this but I can't do anything because I was born a blue blooded one who comes from the biggest Family in Greece.

And the Hamilton family as well as Eliot did not know during the time we were together Sometimes I did not tell him I was from Greece When we first met I pretended to be poor and grew up in the province.

“(i palámi tou Ntévinson éftase)the devinson family has arrived.” One of the servants said that they do not know how to speak the Tagalog language because they grew up here in Greece. Dad and I stood up and at the same time walked to the palace door to greet them. We stood on the side of the door and waited for them to rate our location.

“(Benvenuto) Welcome.” Dad and I greeted them in Italian so that they could understand. Uncle Federico Nicholas devinson don't know how to speak filipino just like auntie Carmine Beniamino devinson but unlike cleopard who knows how to speak English and Filipino he also know Greek language and other I think where the same.

“(molto tempo senza vedere il mio amico) Long time no see my friend.” Tito Federico greeted dad and shook his hand. They've been friends for a long time, so that's how close they are. I saw cleopard looking at me but I ignored it and looked at Aunt Carmine who was speaking.

“(iha è stato un anno da quando sei scomparso e finalmente sei qui) iha its been a year since you disappeared and finaly your here.” she said and quickly came to me and hugged me I just smiled It's not really new so aunt it's still as happy as before. I let go of her hug and smiled at her.

"Let's sit on the sofa aunt before we talk" I said So she nodded, she can understand English So I won't have a hard time speaking Italian. We walked to the big sofa and sat down. Dad followed. So we were all sitting here.

“So how's your life iha while your in Philippines?” smiling Auntie ask me that So The attention of dad and uncle Federico as well as Cleopard turned to us.

“What do you mean carmine? For all this years you know that my daughter is in the Philippines and you didn't even bother to tell me!” dad shockly ask So I stopped myself from laughing, yes Aunt carmine know that I'm in the Philippines for the past years.

"You didn't even ask me that's why I didn't tell you because I thought you already know" said Aunt Carmine to dad.

“And you Federico do you also know about this?” Dad ask uncle Federico. I noticed earlier that cleopard was quiet while looking at me.

"Don't accuse me I just also find out right now that my wife knows iris is in the Philippines for a long time.” uncle Federico response to dad question.

"Fine let's forget it and talk about they're arranging marriage" Dad said So I fell silent.

"But the decision is still in my daughter" Dad followed. So I took a deep breath. I looked at cleopard and saw that he was also looking at me. So I averted my eyes and looked at dad and uncle Federico.

“Can I talk to cleopard first before I made my decision?” I asked them So they nodded So I stood up and motioned for cleopard to follow me

I walked to the Garden in the back I knew he followed me because I felt his presence.

When we got to the garden I was sitting in Bermuda itself where the Sun could not see me because there was a big Tree that turned Us in the Middle. He stood by my side.

"Take a sit" I said. So he sat down next to me.

"Say something" I told him as I watched the Roses around.

"How are you? It's been a year since I last saw you" he asked and i knew he was smiling even though he looked away.

"I'm okay" I replied to him.

“Why did you suddenly come back Iris? Did something happen?" he asked I stopped there.

"Would you still going to marry me? when you find out I'm pregnant." I told him but I'm still watching the flowers saround us. He was silent for a few minutes So I just laughed.

"I know you don't want to accept what others have touched" I said and almost cried because of my stupidity.

"Who says that i won't accept you?" he suddenly said So I looked at him I saw him looking at me and with a smile posted on his lips.

“P-pards-s .....” I called him by the name I always called him back then. Tears dripped down my cheeks because of what he said.

"Stop crying My hope, I've never rejected you .... hope you've always known I've always been by your side. You've never heard me make you feel bad. I really loved you and I didn't force you to love me back." he said and wiped away my tears.

"I- I'm S-sorry ..." I said softly and bowed before sniffing but he suddenly grabbed my chin and lifted it so I could see him.

"You don't have to be sorry, no one is fault, nor it's not your fault to teach the heart to Love the person you don't want So I'm giving you the opportunity to withdraw from the marriage while there's still time because I don't want to force you to do what you don't want too" he said

I thought about what he said. I knew he was hurting. He didn't just show me a smile and I thought I'd just continue the wedding. I want to turn my time to him.

"I'm not going to back down from the wedding" I said directly. That's why he hug me immediately with disbelief as he heard what I just say.

"Are you really not joking ?!" he said in shock and let go letting me go in his hug before touching My two shoulders.

"Yes I'm not joking and don't touch me okay. " I said So he let me go before he stood up So I was surprised.

“YES FINALLY THE GIRL THAT I LOVE IS NOW BECOMING MY WIFE !!!!” He shouted with all his might in the garden so I pulled him back to where he was sitting before.

"Stop being embarrassed, maybe someone heard" I told him blushing.

"No one can heard us it's just the two of us here in the garden" He said and came up to me and touched my tummy and he caressed it.

"Hi baby I'm your daddy Pardss" He said happily and I looked at him and remembered Eliot The person I loved so much but just cheated on me.

FLASHBACK

"Honey how many child do you want us to have." I asked him while we were lying on his bed and Half of my thief was lying on his chest.

"I want a dozen children so I can hear a lot of noise when I'm done building our own house" He said and stroked my hair so I just laughed and beat him with his chest.

"Honey, I'm not a pig" I told him.

"I'm just kidding honey it's still up to you and it's okay with me As long as we can just have a family" He said to me So I looked up at him.

"Really?" I said to him while looking up at him.

"Yes." He said before he kissed my Forehead.

END OF FLASHBACK

I came back in reality because of a hand waving in front of me and I saw it was just a cleopard.

"Hey earth to Iris!?" he said to me but I just shook my head and smiled at him.
