C1 The club

Fiona Hudson walked in to the club which was buzzing, it was filled with people drinking and dancing, some where seen making out while some where consuming drugs. She was nervous and also disgusted, it was her first time in a club especially a famous one where famous and influential men come to have fun.

The music was so loud that you can hardly hear any words said to you by someone, the light was not so bright and you can see Strippers dancing naked while some men throw bundles of money on them. It was a different world from the one Fiona knew and that made her uncomfortable.

As she walked in, A lady in a red dress walked up to her holding a glass of wine, she wore a red lipstick and long heels, she looks like she works there.

"Are you Miss Fiona?" She asked smiling brightly, she was so beautiful and that made Fiona wonder what a beautiful lady like her is doing in a club instead of working in an office.

"Yes." She tried to comport herself and act like she wasn't nervous and scared of the fact that she has allowed a bunch of people to decide her fate.

"Follow me." She said leading the way and Fiona followed her, they both entered a room and she could see ladies sitting down and applying makeup while some where dressing up in seductive dresses.

The lady offered her a seat in front of the mirror and she sat down, she had someone change her appearance and make her look sexy and hot.

"You are so beautiful, Are you sure you want to do this?" She stared at Fiona while fixing her hair.

"It's not like I have another choice" She answered, her life has never been great, she has been suffering for a long time, it was so bad that she has to drop out of school to take care of her sister and her father who has been in coma for three years.

"I'm asking because I care about you, most ladies don't return after being taken home by men from this club, some of them were killed by them in order to hide their filthy secrets while some of them were found roaming the streets mad as a result of drug overdose." She said while maintaining an eye contact with Fiona. Fiona's heart sank deep, she was so scared and wished all this were never happening, she wished she could wake up and find out it was all a dream.

She was still thinking of what to do when she remembered her reason for coming to the club, it was a sacrifice that she has to make to save her family. She knew she has to be confident and believe in her decision. She was taken to the VIP room where highly influential men sit and compete for women by paying huge amount of money on their behalf.

She was made to stand in front of those men ranging from 25 to 50 years old, she was standing with other ladies who were smiling effortlessly and making seductive gestures at the men in front of them. Unlike other ladies, it wasn't easy for her, she's just a twenty years old naive and Clumsy girl who haven't had her first kiss. She forced herself to smile but she wasn't making seductive gestures at those men, they were not the one she was waiting for.

★Flashback★

Fiona Hudson works in a coffee shop where she makes money to take care of her family, she also does part time jobs in order to add to the little money she was paid. She lives with her sister who was fifteen years old and was still in high school. Her family was the definition of perfect until a tragedy struck and they lost everything. Her parents were coming back from an event when they got into an accident and her mother lost her life but her father survived, he has been in Coma since then and it hasn't been easy for Fiona because she has to pay for his medication and hospital bill.

It was so hard for her but she worked her ass off, it wasn't easy for her and the hardest part was having to deal with her rebellious teenage sister. She was at the shop where she works when she received a call telling her to come over to the hospital immediately and she left everything she was doing and headed to the hospital.

"Your father's condition has gotten worse, we just found out that his heart is damaged and he needs a heart transplant as soon as possible" the doctor's voice sank deep into her ears as she tries so hard to fight back the tears which were lurking at the corner of her eyes.

"Okay, Commence the surgery immediately, I don't want to lose him" She managed to say, her voice was was shaking and she was so scared.

"We can't do that without you depositing money, we will conduct the surgery immediately you make a payment, our cashier's office is by the right" The doctor said to her.

"How much are we talking about?" Fiona asked, it's not like she has the money with her but she was hoping it's something she could run around and get.

"Two million dollars." Fiona gasped, where will she get that kind of money from, her savings combined can't pay for the surgery.

"Can't you start the surgery while I go out in search of money". She hoped he could have mercy on her and conduct the surgery, she doesn't want to lose her father, he's the only parent she has left.

"I'm sorry Miss Fiona, but we can't do that." The tears that were lurking at the corner of her eyes finally fell freely down her cheeks, she can't hold it anymore. She left the doctor's office looking devastated and frustrated. Her world was crumbling before her and she there's nothing she can do.

"I can help you" A voice said and that was when she turned her back and was speechless .
