She was so nervous and he noticed it, a smirk escaped his lips as he took a step back from her and she let out a sigh of relief.

"You belong to me, don't think about running away because I will find you" He said to her before he left the room, he noticed she was so scared and decided to leave her.

Fiona was woken up by the knock on her door, she rubbed her face with the back of her palm and went to get the door.

"Good morning, miss Fiona, your breakfast is ready and has been served at the dining downstairs" a maid informed and that was when she stared at the wall clock and realized that she over slept , she quickly changed into something nice and went downstairs. She went to the dining hoping to see Xavier but didn't, she sat down at the large dining room which can contain more twenty people as one the maids dished her food. She was treated like a princess, it was Xavier's order to treat her like that and give her everything that she wants.

They stood there watching her as she eat and that made her uncomfortable, "you can go.... I'm fine" She said trying to send them off so that she can eat comfortably.

"I'm sorry ma'am, but we can't do that, the boss has instructed us to stand close to you while you eat and provide immediate help in case you choke" one of them replied and her face creased.

"What does he take me for?" She asked herself while staring at the poor maids.

"Where's he?.......

"He went on a business trip this morning, you should wake up early if you want to see him " the middle aged woman replied her.

"I'm Winifred but everyone addresses me as ma'am Winnie" She smiled and Fiona quickly bowed her head and greeted her.

"I will take you on a tour around the house" ma'am Winnie said and she grinned.

Fiona decided to call Lawson and tell her about her findings, "this is the perfect time, I have to be very careful" She thought as she entered the bathroom, she dialed his number and he immediately picked up.

"How are things going?, Have you seen the target?" Lawson asked immediately.

"Yes, he lives alone, he's currently on a business trip and I don't know when he will be back" She replied.

"Be vigilant and don't forget to update us, I'm hanging up...."

"Wait!, How is my father and sister?"

"They are fine, but your father hasn't woken up yet".

Fiona sighed heavily, she misses her sister and father, she lied to her sister and told her that she was traveling for work and would be back, she wondered if she was doing well and the fact that her father was still in Coma hurts her so much. The thought of sneaking out to see them crossed her mind but she can't risk it, Xavier would kill her like he did to that young man she met that day.

She perceived the aroma of food, she traced it to the kitchen and met mama Winnie preparing lunch.

"You shouldn't be here"

"I want to help" Fiona insisted and she let her.

"I know you have so many questions you want to ask, ask me and I will answer you" mama Winnie said to her.

"What is the business trip all about?" Fiona asked and she stared at her before bringing out the milk in the freezer.

"We are not allowed to talk about his business, the only thing I can tell you is that this business is a very risky one and it puts his life in danger, so many people out there are trying to kill him. He makes Trips like this regularly, I'm worried that he won't be able to come back one day". Fiona observed mama Winnie closely, she loves Xavier like a son, her heart raced as she heard her mention that people are trying to kill him.

"I'm not one of them, I'm just doing my job" She thought. She excused herself and went into her room and everything in her room reminds her of Xavier, his expensive cologne which filled the room that day and the way his blue eyes pierced into her soul made her want to feel him close to her again.

"I shouldn't be thinking about him, but for some reason it felt nice" She said to herself.

She realized that she needs to ignore the butterflies in her stomach if she really wants to do her job properly.

Xavier was sitting inside his private jet, he was holding a glass of brandy as so many thoughts filled his head.

"Boss, what do want us to do with the lady you brought back home last week?" One of his bodyguard asked and he smirked.

" Let's keep her, There's something interesting about her, we will dispose her when we are done with her " his voice echoed and his bodyguard agreed.

He remembered how she shivered when he came closer to her, "she acted like she has not been that close to a man." He thought in his head.

He came back from the trip and was about going to his room when mama Winnie stopped him. "Food is ready, Sir" She tells him.

"I'm not hungry, I need to rest, I'm so tired" He replied.

"I make you a chrysanthemum tea, it will help you to relax."

"That will be nice, thanks a lot" He replied.

Fiona heard his voice and came downstairs, she shifted her gaze immediately their eyes met, for some reason she has been avoiding his gaze. Everytime he stares at her, it felt like he was staring into her soul.

He entered his room and was about removing his clothes when his phone rang.

"This is Xavier Genovese speaking"

"Boss, miss Celine was spotted at the airport this afternoon" The voice said over the phone and he frowned upon hearing her name.

"Monitor her movements closely and report everything to me!" He commanded.

Fiona saw a maid taking the tea to Xavier's room, " let me help you with that" she said and took the tray from her, she heard him yelling over the phone some minutes ago and wants to find out what was going on, she also needs to update Lawson.

She knocked on his door but got no response, she opened the door and saw him lying down on the bed shirtless with his eyes closed, he looked so tired. She dropped the tray on the table close to her and went closer to Him, he looked like prince charming while sleeping, she found herself drooling over him as she ran her hand down his shirtless body. She has never felt so drawn to anyone, but here she is drooling over the Ruthless mafia who could kill her for touching him, she has lost her mind. She was about leaving the room when he grabbed her hand and made her sit on top of him with his hand on her waist and she gasped in fear.

"Do you want to be my bride?" Xavier asked.
