"Who would've thought Secretary Xu was such a fan of our BL Perfume? I happen to have two bottles of our new Enchanting Siren. If you don't mind, why not take them and give them a try? If they work well, be sure to let me know," Director Huang said, pulling the new product from her bag and handing it to Xu Qianqian.

Xu Qianqian quickly thanked her as she accepted the perfume.

Meanwhile, Leng Yechen stood nearby, his fists clenched tightly, veins bulging on his hands. How bold of Xu Qianqian to accept Director Huang's gift! Wasn't she afraid of the consequences?

Director Huang continued eating, her eyes occasionally drifting to Xu Qianqian's lips and, as she cut her steak, stealing glances at her chest. The V-neck design of her work attire, combined with her figure, left little to the imagination, much to the delight of the man across from her.

As Director Huang savored her steak, she couldn't help but lick her lips repeatedly. "Impressive," she thought, "No wonder she's by Director Leng's side."

"Secretary Xu, you're so beautiful. You must have a boyfriend, right?" Director Huang asked between bites, making casual conversation.

"Oh, you're too kind, Director Huang," Xu Qianqian replied with a smile, neither confirming nor denying. She didn't have a boyfriend—more accurately, she couldn't have one. Any man who got too close would meet an unfortunate end. Even if she'd had boyfriends before, they were never serious relationships. In today's world, how many men could resist?

"Working for Director Leng must be tough," Director Huang remarked, eyeing Xu Qianqian's attire and demeanor with a friendly smile.

The watch, a Rolex women's model, was clearly something she bought for herself. Aside from the watch, she wore no extra accessories—no necklace, no rings, nothing. Her neck was perfectly white, almost untouched, as if no one had ever laid a hand on it. It was hard to believe she could have developed such an impressive figure just from eating, but it seemed true. Could it be that she really didn't have a boyfriend? Given Leng Yechen's personality, he'd probably feel more at ease with a secretary who had a boyfriend, right?

"Are you new, Secretary Xu? It seems like Director Leng's assistant used to handle these matters," Director Huang continued, probing for the information he wanted.

"Yes, I just joined the company yesterday," Xu Qianqian replied honestly, glancing at her watch as she ate. Time was running out; the employees only had an hour and a half for lunch, and she still needed to catch a cab back. She was running short on time.

"I see. Well, I guess we'll be relying on you more in the future, Secretary Xu." Noticing her checking the time, Director Huang stood up, signaling the waiter to bring the check.

Seeing Director Huang about to pay, Xu Qianqian initially wanted to offer to cover the bill. But then she thought better of it—this was a five-star restaurant, and if she insisted on paying, it might embarrass Director Huang. After all, what man doesn't care about his pride?

"If there's anything you need, just let me know. I'll help however I can," Xu Qianqian expressed her gratitude while subtly offering her assistance.

Little did she know, her words sparked a series of thoughts in Director Huang's mind. Anything he needed? What if he needed her to satisfy his desires? Could she fulfill that?

Director Huang's lips curled into a cold smile, hidden from Xu Qianqian's view. In the shadows, Leng Yechen watched the scene unfold, nearly crushing his coffee cup in frustration. This reckless woman—did she have a death wish, or was she just not planning on living much longer?

"Director Leng, are you...?" The male assistant looked at Yechen, puzzled by his sudden change in demeanor. Yechen was usually so composed, and today at noon, he had a lunch scheduled with a top celebrity. She was not only stunning but also had a fantastic figure. Director Leng had been supporting her career for quite some time, and finally, they had a chance to have lunch together. Why would he suddenly cancel?

"Is it BL Corporation? Keep a close eye on them for me," Yechen said as he stood up, his thoughtful gaze carrying a hint of mystery that was hard to decipher.

Hearing this, the male assistant nodded, accepting the order without question. Realizing that Director Leng was heading back to the office without having lunch, the assistant quickly made his way to the five-star restaurant next door to order a steak for him. Remembering the steak Xu Qianqian had earlier, the assistant tightened his grip on his wallet and instinctively pulled out his phone to call her. "Secretary Xu? Director Leng had something come up and skipped lunch. If you're out, please bring him something to eat. Oh, and he prefers his steak medium rare."
