C7 CHAPTER SEVEN: Friends And Foes

In the vibrant embrace of a beautiful Monday morning at Grand Empire Academy, life flowed through the air filled with the mummers of countless students in various classes.

Amidst this lively scene, a tense feeling enveloped around Three unmistakable figures standing out.

Nicole and Bucky are two of the figures laughing with mockery, while Paul standing in shock after just receiving a punch from Bucky.

The air crackled with a mix of mockery and anger, casting a shadow over the otherwise cheerful morning.

"Hey watch it you two, what the heck was that for?"[annoyed] Alen yelled as he was behind the school gate as he watched the scene unfold

"Shit, I could just jump in now and beat the heck out of them, but Nicole being there complicated things too much" [worried] Alen said Internally, fists clenching the bars of the gate in frustration.

He knew escalating things further would only make the situation worse.

"Huh, who the hell just punched me"[confused] Paul said touching his cheek.

"You freaking bastard, who the heck do you think you are to punc..."[furious] Paul was saying as his rage boiled up, but it instantly dropped, quickly changing into a horrifying mix of fear and despair.

His voice faltered, and his heart sank as he locked eyes with Bucky, whose face bore a devilish smile engraved into Paul's memory like a haunting portrait.

The traumatic shock sent shivers down his spine, flashing a hunting memory in an endless loop, as if his own mind aimed to plunge him into the depths of insanity.

"On no, now that I can't ignore," alen said alarmed by the unmistakable bulging veins on Paul's hand and the dread masked on his face.

He swiftly stepped back, using the wall for leverage to perform a parkour side jump over the gate.

"You again, now even in my school you still hunt me,"[angered]Paul said Internally, his anger barely contained bitting down on his lip so hard that blood trickled.

"Am gonna freaking ki...," Paul's internal rage erupted as he said, but before he could finish, Alen dashed in, enveloping Paul in a hug.

In a low, urgent whisper, Alen said to him.

"Paul get a freaking hold of yourself, where in school calm down or you will fall for Nicole's trap, if you don't want that, get yourself together, deal with this like you normally do, and show them who they messed with" alen whispered to Paul as to calm him down

"That's all I can do for now. It's up to you whether you give in or not," Alen said, stepping back, feeling concerned about Paul's next move.

"Hehe hehe, I guess Alen right, what you gonna do to me anyway where in school after all, and you know your the supreme student council president and it gonna be pretty bad when all the students come out for assembly to see the scene of the supreme student council president bullying her own classmate alongside a delinquent" [smirking] Paul said with a quick change in mood into a confidently composed mood to hold in his anger.

"Huh?" echoed everyone, thoroughly confused by Paul's words.

Alen moved closer, trying to keep a straight face, "hmm Paul, it's 9 o'clock. We're late for the assembly," he said, barely holding back his laughter.

"What how the heck are we late, shit it's because of you" Paul yelled pointing at Nicole, immediately dashing off with Alen, leaving Bucky and Nicole in utter confusion.

NICOLE POV:

"What the heck is with that guy, he just ran away like that"[annoyed] Nicole said her tone filled with irritation

"Well if it's that little brat you won't me to deal with then this will be a piece of cake, don't worry too much I will make sure he regrets messing with you, so what should I do now"[grinning] Bucky said cracking his knuckles

"I couldn't care less what you do now as long as you use my method, and get the job done. But don't forget to be careful, never ever entertain the thought of betraying me. I have limits you dare not cross. Crossing them will just unleash a wrath that even the sun itself would cower beneath," Nicole said with a cheerful yet chilled tone, that sent shivers down his spine ".

"Yes ma, you can trust me with this job"[scared] Bucky said as he bowed his head to Nicole.

"Better now get to class, "Nicole said as she walked away

"What that hell, she only 17, and yet It feels like am watching a monster walking away from the meal it just finished, Let's just get this job done one move on to the next plan," Bucky said Internally as he walked towards to school hallway.

"What an idiot, am sure he will do anything for me as long as I strick fear in him, that's what gonna always make him weak," Nicole said as she walked into an empty council room.

She settled into her seat near the window, facing the glass window. "Sigh! It's been two weeks already since I started high school, yet although it feels no different from my previous role. I still can't quite imagine the extent of power given to me as the supreme student council president." Nicole said to herself steering into the window

"The Supreme Student Council stands as the ultimate authority, overseeing all schools in the vast metropolis of Tenkai.

Beyond academics, it regulates student life, discipline, and extracurricular activities.

"Sighs!! That's all my mother told me about this role and how powerful it is and yet still has so many weaknesses within it, but also saying it still provides me a chance of ever meeting my dad again, as long as I follow what she tells me to do"

"I just want to have want to have a normal school life, but I guess normal is not an option if my dad is not with me, I will just have to do what it takes to be able to talk to him again,"[with a bank face], Nicole said quietly as she looks into to reflection of herself I the mirror.

"But Paul all you do is just annoy, annoy, annoy, I didn't even get what he was talking about then on the rooftop but now out of nowhere started his foolish games with me, I can't just stand it not only his head treat as a gang leader, but now as a freaking pest, now you must leave and not by my power I will Force you to leave of your own will even if it the last thing I do," Nicole said with anger as she clenched her hand tightly bit soon after the next period bell rang ending her inner monologue with herself as she leaves the office

"pfft alen, hey dumbass answer me," Paul said kicking Alen

"What the heck do you want dude can't you see where in class" Alen replied back annoyed

"Don't forget the free lunch from that bet, because break is 30min from now" Paul whispered

"What! da!, how the heck do you even remember that darm I guess that punch didn't do enough damage to you" Alen replied back saying

"What did you just say, If you must know I allowed that punch to touch my face so I could act a little dramatic," Paul said making an annoyed face

"Yess! Said so by Mr 'am gonna freaking kill you' '' [laughing] Alen said

"Don't you dear" Paul replied

"Will you two just shut up already where in the middle of class, some people are trying to study" Lola said turning her head back.

"Yeah, yeah, sorry, Leo. We'll zip it," Paul promised, grinning mischievously.

"Hey young man over there leave my class," the teacher said annoyed

"But... but.. "Lola said confused

"Hehe hehe," Paul and Alen chuckled quietly, raising their hands in apology as the teacher aimed a piece of chalk their way. The swift throw struck fear into both Paul and Alen, who quickly straightened up, trying to look innocent amidst their suppressed laughter.

"Arghhhh morons" Nicole exclaimed Internally.
