In the silence that engulfed the car, a pin drop could be heard. The atmosphere was awkward, and Cameron kept looking sideways at Midas.

Midas, on the other hand, simply smiled whenever he looked at Cameron, and Cameron immediately averted his gaze.

“Will Mr. Jack be waiting for you at home?” Midas was attempting to lighten the mood in the car.

“No, he’ll meet me at the office
