C111 A Fierce Dragon Crossing the River!
"Are you some kind of idiot?" the bald man in the suit jeered. "You think you can strut around Zecheng Group like you own the place? You clearly haven't asked around to find out whose turf this is!"
"Yeah, and you even dare to address our boss by his name? You've got some nerve!"
"You little punk, claiming to be the boss's Big Brother? I wouldn't believe you if you said the boss was your godfather! You're not even worthy of being his grandson!" The security guards joined in the mockery.
"Drag him out. A few slaps should bring him to his senses. Then make him kneel at the group's entrance as a warning to others!" The bald man in the suit said dismissively with a wave of his hand.
He couldn't fathom where this foolish kid had come from, appearing to be a few cards short of a full deck. He just waltzed in, dropping the boss's name with such audacity, demanding that the boss come down to meet him?
Having worked with Boss Yu Zecheng for years, he knew the respect the wealthy and officials in the Central Sky District paid to him. Whenever Boss Yu stepped out, a fleet of twenty Bentleys followed!
He had never encountered someone so brazen!
"Kid, since you're looking for trouble, I'm happy to oblige!"
With that, several burly security guards charged at Lin Yin, wielding their batons.
But in a flash, seven or eight strong men lunged and missed, some even colliding with each other, clutching their heads and yelling in pain.
Lin Yin, however, had vanished like the wind, reappearing a dozen meters away.
The security guards were left staring in disbelief.
Suddenly, Lin Yin reappeared before them, his leg sweeping through the air with a whoosh. Each guard felt a sharp kick to the knee, the force sending shockwaves of pain through them, and they all fell to their knees before Lin Yin.
"You! You dare to fight here?" The bald man's eyes widened in shock before he erupted in rage, charging forward with a fierce punch aimed at Lin Yin.
The bald man in the suit, clearly taken aback, was suddenly seething with rage. He threw a punch with the speed and ferocity of an underground boxing champion, exuding confidence with every strike.
There was a muffled thud. Lin Yin remained unmoved, his stance steady as he precisely caught the bald man's fist in his grip. The sound of sinew and bone twisting filled the air. The bald man's forehead glistened with sweat from the intense pain, his body trembling and going limp. Lin Yin held his arm in a vice-like grip, the continuous crunching of bones breaking echoed in the room.
"Ah! How dare you harm me? I'm Master Yu's Bald Eagle! You'd better ask around about my reputation!" The Bald Eagle snarled viciously, his body convulsing with pain.
The Bald Eagle couldn't fathom where this kid, dressed in a white shirt and looking every bit the student, had found such incredible strength. With just one hand, he had nearly crushed the Bald Eagle's fist!
After all, he was the underground boxing champion of the Central Sky District. It was his reputation in the underground boxing scene that had caught Master Yu's eye, leading to his recruitment and training.
He never imagined he'd be bested by such a young guy!
Lin Yin's face was devoid of emotion, his gaze calmly settling on the front desk attendant, who was visibly shaken by the unfolding chaos.
"I'm here to see Yu Zecheng."
The receptionist was in a state of panic. She had worked in the lobby for so long and had never witnessed such a scene. What was happening? Who would dare to cause trouble in the boss's company?
"What the hell are you waiting for?! Call someone down! If you let Master Yu find out you can't even guard the door, do you think you'll get off easy?" The Bald Eagle, despite the agony in his arm, bellowed between gasps for air.
An alarm blared throughout the reception hall.
In no time, the area was evacuated, the doors shut tight, and a layer of black-tinted glass descended, obscuring all visibility from the outside.
A burly man with the build of a bear, cigar in mouth, sauntered down, flanked by a dozen menacing men in suits.
"Grey, take this punk down now. I want him on his knees before me!" The Bald Eagle spat out venomously, his face twisted with spite. As he spoke, Lin Yin tightened his grip, eliciting a chorus of crackling from the Bald Eagle's bones and a scream of agony.
"What's going on here? Bald Eagle, you can't handle a kid?" Grey frowned, scrutinizing Lin Yin.
"Kid, I don't care who you are. If you've got the guts to start trouble here, then nobody can save you," Grey sneered menacingly. "I'll give you ten seconds to let him go and get on your knees to apologize. Otherwise, get ready for someone to collect your body!"
Lin Yin sneered with a look of disdain in his eyes, as if he were regarding a group of ants.
"You're so bold? How dare you look at me like that?" Grizzly Bear was enraged. He tossed his cigar aside and snapped his fingers. The men in suits around him all reached into their jacket pockets, and it was obvious to anyone what they were carrying.
"Everyone, stand down!"
Just then, a thunderous rebuke echoed through the air.
A tall, middle-aged man wearing a brown coat, his face exuding authority, stepped out of the elevator, flanked by two men in black.
"Master Yu!" The crowd exclaimed in unison, bowing their heads respectfully.
Yu Zecheng approached, eyeing Lin Yin with a mix of surprise and uncertainty. When their gazes met, and he saw Lin Yin's icy eyes, Yu's pupils contracted, and he quickly averted his gaze.
It was really him! He had returned!
Yu Zecheng was inwardly shaken. He couldn't believe that after ten years, the young man had actually come back to Imperial City!
"Master Yin! You've returned?" Yu Zecheng's voice was filled with disbelief and respect.
"I have returned." Lin Yin kicked the bald eagle aside and walked over, hands clasped behind his back.
Yu Zecheng's expression was one of excitement and utter astonishment.
Then, turning his icy gaze toward the bald eagle and Grizzly Bear, he said in a chilling tone, "Master Yin is not someone you can afford to offend. Kneel down! You may only rise when Master Yin gives a nod. If he doesn't, you'll be kneeling here for the rest of your lives!"
The bald eagle and Grizzly Bear, sweating profusely and eyes wide with fear, couldn't believe why Master Yu would show such respect to a young man.
What was happening? They had offended someone of such stature, and if Master Yu was angered, their lives could be snuffed out at any moment!
"Ah! Little brother, no, Master Yin! Yes, that's right, I'm so sorry!"
"Please, you're a magnanimous person. We beg you to plead on our behalf with Master Yu. It was an unintentional mistake!"
The two men were desperately begging for mercy, their heads knocking against the floor with loud thuds. Master Yu was furious, and if they didn't apologize, they were done for!
The dozen or so security guards present all knelt down, their heads bowed low. Even the haughty waitress, who had looked down on others, was trembling as she knelt at the top of the stairs.
Lin Yin walked into the elevator, hands behind his back, completely ignoring these insignificant beings.
Yu Zecheng stood respectfully to the side, his heart racing. He remembered a night of a storm over a decade ago. That evening, a boy of about ten years old had saved him under the threat of more than a dozen guns and over thirty knives, cutting a path through the street! The terror and brutality of that night were unparalleled!
