C133 So You Are My Cousin!

A group of women were engaged in an endless buzz of conversation, prompting Grizzly Bear and the other bodyguards stationed at the door to marvel in amazement. These daughters of affluent families, usually so haughty, were now visibly excited just from catching a glimpse of Master Yin. It was quite the spectacle.

If only they could emulate Master Yin. After all, he's the youngest billionaire around.

Thirty minutes later, Yu Zecheng pulled up to Mount Purple Dragon. Lin Yin stepped out of the car and immediately noticed a cluster of young women in the distance.

"What's the situation? Master Yin, those women haven't followed us here, have they?" Yu Zecheng was taken aback, recognizing them as the same wealthy heiresses they had seen earlier at the entrance of the Zecheng Building.

Yu Zecheng massaged his temples, feeling the onset of a headache. Women could be such a handful when they got worked up. If they were men, he'd have an easier time dealing with them.

But these were no ordinary girls; they were daughters of the most influential families, at least from the top-tier families of Imperial City. Even though he was one of Master Yin's men and not without his own standing, he couldn't just dismiss Master Yin's fervent female fans without good reason.

"Master Yin, what's your take on this? Should I send them away with a stern warning?" Yu Zecheng hesitated before asking, "Or perhaps we should invite them to join us for a meal?"

Yu Zecheng was cautious, unsure of Master Yin's thoughts. If Master Yin had his eye on one of the young women and Yu Zecheng sent her packing, he'd be in a world of trouble.

Lin Yin glanced at them without a trace of emotion on his face.

That's when he noticed Gongsun Qiuyu among the group of women.

What were they doing at Mount Purple Dragon?

He pondered for a moment. It made sense; they were daughters of the premier families of Imperial City, and Qiuyu was a member of the Gongsun Family, whose Old Master likely had the stature to reside here.

"Go back and make arrangements for my private plane tonight," Lin Yin instructed with a firm tone.

The Qi Family's portfolio included an airline company.

"Yes, Master Yin!" Yu Zecheng affirmed with gravity.

Lin Yin refrained from further comment and proceeded towards the security perimeter surrounding Mount Purple Dragon.

At that moment, Gongsun Qiuyu caught sight of Lin Yin. She adjusted her glasses and teased with a sly grin, "Hey? What brings you here? You're not here just to wait for me, are you? If you're looking for a job, you could've just called me. Or is it that you're too shy and wanted to make it seem like a chance encounter?"

Her friends were left speechless by her remark, their gazes shifting to Lin Yin.

Lin Yin offered a smile but remained silent, turning to enter Mount Purple Dragon.

"How can you just walk into Mount Purple Dragon?" Gongsun Qiuyu exclaimed in astonishment, watching Lin Yin's retreating figure. How did he have the privilege to enter? He usually got around by taxi and dressed like a high school student.

Could it be that he was from a wealthy family too? He had the audacity to blatantly disregard her. She resolved to do some digging when she got back, to uncover his background. Then she'd leverage his family to ensure he came to teach Ancient Language and Culture, like a good little teacher.

Gongsun Qiuyu huffed in annoyance, determined to follow Lin Yin to the sanatorium villa area he had headed for in Mount Purple Dragon.

"Qiuyu, even if he's your cousin, you shouldn't speak to him that way," chided a poised girl in a blue dress.

"Yeah, Qiuyu, your cousin spoils you because he's good-natured. You should be grateful. He took down the Wen Family overnight, which is quite impressive. You shouldn't be so arrogant; remember to be more respectful in the future," another girl advised.

They were all ardent admirers of the mythical Qi Yin, completely oblivious to the fact that Lin Yin didn't even know them.

"What are you talking about? Cousin?" Gongsun Qiuyu was bewildered. What had gotten into her friends? Why were they defending a stranger?

"You haven't fallen for that guy, have you? You're acting so infatuated," Gongsun Qiuyu observed, watching her friends fixate on Lin Yin's departing silhouette, feeling a mix of bemusement and resignation.

"Yes, what's the problem, Qiuyu? Hurry up and give me his contact information."

"I need his phone number too."

"Have you lost your minds? I don't have his contact info." Gongsun Qiuyu huffed, feeling like they were only there to provoke and mock her.

"I'm off to see my grandfather. Why are you asking me for my cousin's number? I don't even know which cousin you're talking about. Are you guys lovesick or something?" Gongsun Qiuyu said with dissatisfaction.

"Really, Qiuyu, you can't even do us this small favor?"

"It's outrageous that you won't help, especially after all these years we've known each other."

"You're not in love with your cousin, are you?" A few girls whispered among themselves, casting envious glances at Gongsun Qiuyu.

Without a word, Gongsun Qiuyu turned and walked toward Mount Purple Dragon.

She couldn't fathom why, upon her return from abroad, her Imperial City friends were seeking her help. They weren't lacking in beauty or status, coming from affluent families; finding a partner should be a piece of cake for them.

Gongsun Qiuyu continued on her way, snorting in disdain, choosing to believe they were just ribbing her, though she still felt a bit irked.

Inside Qi Wending's sanatorium.

Lin Yin and Qi Wending sat across from each other, sipping tea and chatting for some time.

"Yin, I won't pry into how you handled the Wen Family situation. What do you plan to do in the future?" Qi Wending asked, his face showing pride as he savored his black tea.

"I won't be staying in Imperial City. I'll come to visit you in the future," Lin Yin stated firmly.

The affair with the Wen Family was far from straightforward. He wasn't naive enough to think that their departure from Imperial City meant he could rest easy.

On the contrary, the real battle was just beginning.

"It's for the best that you're leaving Imperial City. Just make sure to take good care of yourself out there," Qi Wending said with a slight nod, understanding that Lin Yin surely had his share of secrets, but these were matters for the young man to handle.

After all, young men should have their own stage to shine on.

"Alright, Grandpa, I should head back now. I have a flight tonight," Lin Yin stated earnestly.

"Go on. Take good care of yourself," Qi Wending replied, rising to his feet.

Together, the elder and the younger strolled out of the villa area.

Lin Yin waved farewell to Qi Wending and left the sanatorium. Just then, Gongsun Qiuyu approached, her face etched with surprise as she looked at Lin Yin.

Lin Yin's brow furrowed slightly, equally bewildered. What brought Gongsun Qiuyu to the Old Master's villa complex? Yet, he didn't inquire further and continued on his way out of Mount Purple Dragon.

"Grandpa, do you know that man?" Gongsun Qiuyu asked Qi Wending, her voice laced with astonishment.

Qi Wending chuckled, "Don't you recognize him? That's your cousin Qi Yin."

"Cousin Qi Yin?" Gongsun Qiuyu's expression was one of shock, her mind reeling.

That was Qi Yin? How had she failed to recognize him?

Gongsun Qiuyu was brimming with questions. She had heard tales of Qi Yin's formidable actions against the Wen Family, how his renown had spread throughout Dragon Country, making him the youngest tycoon and the most capable youth. He was the idol of innumerable young people in Imperial City, and the fervent crush of countless young women.

Yet the mythical Qi Yin was just a boy who seemed no older than a high school student?

"You didn't see that coming, did you?" Qi Wending said with a smile.

Gongsun Qiuyu pursed her lips and murmured to herself, "So, you're my cousin."

"Grandpa, where has Cousin Qi Yin gone?" Gongsun Qiuyu pressed, determined to find him and clear the air, no matter where he was.

"He's left Imperial City. I'm not sure where he's headed. You might want to ask Yu Zecheng; he's Yin's representative here in Imperial City," Qi Wending informed her.

...

That night, Lin Yin sat aboard a private jet en route to East Sea Province.

He had finally recalled that Gongsun Qiuyu was indeed the Old Master's granddaughter.

They had been close in their youth. But now, those memories had nearly faded; he hadn't even recognized her name at first.

The journey to Imperial City had come to a close, yet the situation had grown more complex.

Lin Yin gazed upon the expansive terrain beneath the plane, his eyes slowly taking on a contemplative depth.

Meanwhile, in Qingyun City, at Snow Dragon Villa.

Zhang Qimo had spent several days recuperating at the villa and was just stepping out for a leisurely stroll.

Out of nowhere, a convoy of over ten cars encircled her. Dozens of well-dressed bodyguards emerged and, without uttering a sound, swiftly escorted her away.
