C134 East Sea's Master Ding!
"Who are you?" Zhang Qimo was startled by the sudden arrival of so many menacing individuals.
Over a dozen cars encircled her just like that.
"That's her, Zhang Qimo. Take her away!" commanded the leader, a man in a suit with sunglasses, his expression icy.
No sooner had he spoken than several suited bodyguards lunged to apprehend Qimo. Suddenly, a black Land Rover swerved from the curb, nearly hitting the men in suits, who retreated in alarm.
"What do you think you're doing? Are you looking for trouble?"
The black Land Rover positioned itself in front of Qimo, and three middle-aged men in white training attire stepped out.
It was Liu Jun and his two brothers, secretly tasked with protecting Qimo.
"We from the Ding Clan's Inch Fist Gate are handling our affairs. I suggest you step aside!" the man in sunglasses barked confidently.
"Ding Clan's Inch Fist Gate?" Liu Jun's brow creased as he exchanged glances with his brothers, all equally perplexed.
While most residents of Qingyun City might be unfamiliar with the Ding Clan's Inch Fist Gate, these three were among the top martial artists in the East Sea Province and were well aware of its reputation.
The Ding Clan's Inch Fist Gate was renowned throughout the East Sea Province's martial arts community as the premier boxing gate of the modern era, with a far-reaching reputation. Its disciples were all notable masters, far surpassing ordinary fighting bodyguards, each trained in lethal techniques.
Notably, the founder of the Ding Clan's Inch Fist Gate, Ding Shenyi, also known as Master Ding, was celebrated as the foremost martial arts master in the East Sea Province. With over thirty years of fame, he was a respected senior to Liu Jun and his brothers and a leading figure in the martial arts world.
"What's the matter? You've heard of the Ding Clan's Inch Fist Gate, haven't you? Then beat it!" the man in sunglasses taunted them, exuding an air of superiority.
"You all seem to have some training. Knowing the renown of our Inch Fist Gate, why haven't you left yet? Are you seeking death?" he scoffed, speaking down to them.
"What brings you here? Why are you after Ms. Zhang?" Liu Jun inquired, puzzled.
"I have no idea. I'm just following Old Master Ding's orders to take Zhang Qimo away. You'd best not interfere," the man in sunglasses stated coldly.
"Take her away? Old Master Ding?" Liu Jun scoffed. "Old Master Ding has been a renowned figure for over thirty years, and he values his reputation. Would he really send someone to abduct a woman? That's laughable!"
Having said that, Liu Jun charged at the man in sunglasses. The man was no novice in martial arts and put up a good fight, employing a series of boxing techniques against Liu Jun, but he was ultimately overpowered.
Meanwhile, Liu Jun's two brothers also sprang into action, seizing the suited men from the Inch Fist Gate and unleashing a fierce beating on them. The men were quickly subdued, wailing and convulsing on the ground.
Liu Jun and his brothers were formidable martial artists, ranked among the nation's elite. Handling this group of martial arts novices was a walk in the park for them.
Three minutes later, the fight on Liu Jun's side had a clear victor. The man in sunglasses was left with a gushing nosebleed, lying on the ground with his shattered sunglasses revealing a gaunt and unattractive face.
With a resounding thud, Liu Jun stomped on the man's face, his voice filled with menace, "I don't care who you are, but if you think you can target Miss Zhang, you're gravely mistaken!"
"You! You dare to lay a hand on me? I'm Master Ding's eighth disciple! You'll regret ever crossing paths with me in Qingyun City!" the man in sunglasses retorted defiantly.
Master Ding's status in the East Sea Province was revered, commanding respect even from the Three Big Families. With countless disciples and grandsons who were wealthy and influential, his power was immense.
By attacking him, they were essentially disrespecting Master Ding. Old Master Ding, known for his concern over his reputation, was fiercely protective of his disciples and would undoubtedly seek retribution.
"I don't give a damn who you are! Not even Master Ding himself could save you now!" Liu Jun growled as he delivered another punishing kick to the man, eliciting screams of pain.
Liu Jun was seething with anger. The audacity to threaten him? He was no longer just a martial arts expert; he was a man under Master Lin, a trusted aide of Third Master Shen!
He would deal with anyone who dared to cross Mrs. Lin.
In the past, Master Ding's reputation might have intimidated him. But now, with Master Lin's support, no one in East Sea Province could make him flinch.
Zhang Qimo was taken aback by the unexpected turn of events.
She recognized Liu Jun as Lin Yin's friend.
She hadn't realized that Lin Yin had such extensive connections in Qingyun City. To think that such a capable friend would come to her aid.
Surely, Lin Yin must have paid a hefty sum for his help.
Zhang Qimo's cheeks flushed with a mix of surprise and gratitude. Lin Yin always had a way of supporting her from the shadows.
"Haha, Liu Jun, have you and your brothers become so formidable? After siding with Third Master Shen, you think you can look down on me?"
Just then, an unassuming Audi A6 pulled up, and a white-haired old man in a yellow martial arts jacket stepped out, eyeing Liu Jun and his brothers with supreme arrogance.
"Master Ding? Are these really your students?" Liu Jun asked, his brow furrowed in confusion.
What was this about? Ding Shenyi, despite his age, was still stirring up trouble?
Liu Jun and his brothers regarded Master Ding as if he were a significant threat.
Ding Shenyi played with his centipede clasp, parading around with an air of superiority. He sauntered over, hands clasped behind his back.
His affected demeanor disgusted not only Liu Jun and his brothers but also Zhang Qimo.
The old man's attire, with its centipede clasps, was reminiscent of a bygone era's subservient servant, ready to kneel at his master's command. It was truly repulsive.
"They are my students. What about it? You three young upstarts dare to lay a hand on them?" Ding Shenyi sneered, his arrogance palpable.
"Ding, are you the one who sent your disciples to cause trouble? Who gave you the right to step in?" Liu Jun retorted sharply, seeing no reason to show deference to an elder who had none for him.
"How dare you address me by my surname instead of 'master'?" Ding Shenyi snorted coldly, clearly displeased.
"I was specially invited by the Wang Family to extend an invitation to Zhang Qimo to be their guest." Ding Shenyi boasted with a smug look on his face, feeling quite honored to be conducting business on behalf of the Wang Family.
"Everyone, out of my way. Let me take Zhang Qimo with me. Otherwise, I might accidentally kill you all in the process," Ding Shenyi threatened.
"You decrepit fool, still acting all high and mighty at your age?" Liu Jun exploded in anger. Was Ding Shenyi seriously thinking of taking Zhang Qimo away? Was he still willing to serve a despicable family like the Wang Family? And he still had such an inflated sense of self-worth?
Ding Shenyi had made a name for himself thirty years ago, but now, at sixty or seventy, his best days were behind him. Liu Jun and his brothers were in their prime—how could they not defeat him?
Without further ado, Liu Jun charged and landed a brutal kick on Ding Shenyi. His brothers joined in, swarming around Ding Shenyi and unleashing a flurry of blows.
Protecting Mrs. Lin was a matter of life and future. If anyone dared to kidnap Mrs. Lin, they would fight back fiercely, even if it were a deity!
The thuds of the fight resonated. Liu Jun and his brothers moved with lightning speed, their fists and feet raining down like a tempest. Despite being outnumbered, Ding Shenyi was formidable, managing to withstand the onslaught and hold his ground against the three attackers.
