C80 The Noble Him Was Angry!

Zhou Binn's henchmen were perched in their off-road vehicles by the dock, too terrified to disembark.

Shen San was trembling with excitement as he stared at Lin Yin, almost in disbelief. "I am deeply grateful for the rebirth Master Lin has granted me! Whatever task Master Lin assigns, I, Shen San, will fulfill it without fail!" His face flushed with emotion, Shen San bowed deeply, his head bowed in utmost sincerity.

He was well aware that Lin Yin was positioning him to be the new First Bro of the East Sea. By eliminating Zhou Binn, Lin Yin had cleared his path, even going so far as to crush the Zhou Family to elevate him. Becoming one of Lin Yin's men felt like an incredible stroke of destiny to Shen San.

"News of your takedown of Zhou Binn in the east city will spread quickly. I'm giving you one month to take control of the underground world," Lin Yin stated icily. "Henceforth, the Liu brothers will be your right-hand men. Return to Qingyun City and issue invitations to all the influential figures, making it clear that those who comply will thrive, and those who resist will perish."

"Master Lin, I will not disappoint your meticulous cultivation of my abilities!" Shen San declared, standing tall, his veins coursing with fervor.

With the Liu brothers at his side and Master Lin's formidable backing, if he couldn't secure Qingyun City, he would have squandered his entire underworld career.

"Take care of the aftermath. I'll have a task for you in the next couple of days. Await my call," Lin Yin instructed, then turned and strode toward the helicopter waiting by the Qingyun River.

"Yes, Master Lin!" Shen San called out, bowing deeply to Lin Yin's retreating figure.

His fists clenched, his ambition was boundless.

The remnants of Zhou Binn's crew, largely composed of foreign mercenaries with no allegiance, could easily be bought off now that Zhou Binn was gone. And for the Liu brothers, the mere thought of Master Lin would haunt them like a nightmare, ensuring their absolute obedience.

With this newfound power at his disposal, Shen San knew it was only a matter of time before Qingyun City was his.

"Who would have thought Master Lin could have remained so inconspicuous within the modest Zhang Family..." Shen San mused, still in awe of the true might Lin Yin had revealed that day.

The world had likely underestimated Lin Yin!

Indeed, a true peerless divine sword, no matter how well-concealed, could not mask its inherent sharpness. Even sheathed within a cloth bag, it would pierce through, leaving the world in awe of its splendor.

Reflecting on the day's events, Shen San felt that Master Lin had changed dramatically. A hint of malevolence had surfaced, and the aura of his killing intent was chilling to the core.

It seemed he had only shown a fraction of his true power. No one could fathom the extent of Master Lin's terror.

Shen San could sense the ominous atmosphere enveloping East Sea Province. He understood a simple truth: when an ordinary man is enraged, he might pound his chest and stamp his feet in frustration. But when an emperor's wrath is kindled, millions could perish.

A powerless man's anger might lead to nothing more than street brawls and insults. But when someone like Lin Yin, akin to a true dragon and emperor, becomes enraged, the consequence could be the death of millions.

...

Upon returning to Snow Dragon Villa, Lin Yin eagerly sought out Lee Pu.

The helicopter base was situated on a small island along Qingyun River, not far from Snow Dragon Villa. It was through Shen San's extensive resources and connections that the flight path had been secured.

"Young Master, have you returned from your tasks?" Lee Pu inquired, his complexion noticeably improved.

"Have you figured it out? Any leads on how to locate the Wen Family's emissaries?" Lin Yin pressed.

Lee Pu's face wavered with uncertainty. He earnestly asked, "Master, may I ask once more, are you truly not considering going overseas? How do you intend to confront the Wen Family?"

"Their demise is at my hands," Lin Yin declared icily.

Lee Pu stared at Lin Yin, taken aback. In that moment, Lin Yin's eyes radiated an overwhelming self-assurance.

He suddenly understood that this long-lost young master of the Qi Family was no ordinary individual.

Having mingled among the elite of Imperial City for decades, Lee Pu had encountered a myriad of personalities. Yet, he was convinced that the young master was far from the Zhang Family's so-called Trash Son-in-law or the discarded scion of the Qi Family. His true identity was surely beyond anyone's imagination.

It's hardly surprising that the young master once refused the old master's offer of a golden opportunity to rise to great heights. He didn't even bother to claim the billion-yuan fortune left for him in Qingyun City by the old master.

I had believed the young master's refusal was due to a grudge he held in his heart against the old master, a matter of pride preventing him from accepting the offer. But now, it seems that the young master simply doesn't value the trappings of the Qi Family at all!

Lee Pu inhaled deeply, striving to regain his composure, and spoke with gravity, "Young master, they're at the Qingyun Hotel! They're unaware of your current status. They will surely be there waiting for you, watching for the moment you claim the inheritance the old master left for you—like walking into a trap."

"Qingyun Hotel?" A cold glint flickered in Lin Yin's eyes. Without another word, he left the opulent villa.

His boldness in challenging the Wen Family, the rising stars among the noble families, was not unfounded.

Lin Yin's confidence didn't stem from being the so-called heir to the Qi Family of Imperial City, nor from being the first elder of the Ning Family. Rather, it was his identity as the heir to the Dragon Mansion and his mastery of ancient martial arts, which was nearing its pinnacle.

The Dragon Mansion's lineage had been passed down for a millennium, with a single line of succession from the Mansion Lord. Beneath the Mansion Lord were five sects and twelve halls, their influence spread across the globe, all awaiting his call to rouse the slumbering Dragon Guard.

And his role as the first elder of the Ning Family in Imperial City? That was merely the result of a benevolent bond formed between his master and the Ning Family.

Moreover, his master had always taught him that the transient nature of worldly possessions, connections, wealth, and power, all ebbed and flowed like water. True, everlasting power was that which he wielded in his own hands.

Twenty minutes later, Lin Yin arrived at the Qingyun Hotel by car, deep into the night. The thirty-story building, bathed in moonlight, took on an eerie aura.

He stepped out of the car and entered the hotel, pressing the button for the elevator to the twenty-sixth floor.

At the same moment that Lin Yin entered the Qingyun Hotel, in the hotel's surveillance room, a man dressed in black furrowed his brow. He fixed his gaze on Lin Yin's image on the monitor. Pulling out a photograph from his pocket, he compared it carefully with the figure on the screen.

The man in black murmured to himself, "Did this person go up to the twenty-sixth floor? His age is a match, and he bears a slight resemblance to Qi Hetu?" He glanced between the photo in his hand and the image of the young man on the screen, his face a mix of surprise and suspicion.

Without hesitation, he bolted from the surveillance room, quickly dialed a number, and then hurried up the stairs toward the meeting room on the 26th floor.

"She, keep a close watch on the hotel's main entrance! And notify Lord Leopard to head to Qingyun Hotel immediately!" he commanded into the phone as he sprinted.

After ending the call, he found himself on the twenty-sixth floor. Besides the meeting room, the floor housed several presidential suites along the corridor.

Positioned at the elevator doors, he was convinced that the young man resembling Qi Hetu had ascended in this very lift. This individual was likely the target their organization was hunting in Qingyun City.

With that in mind, he drew his pistol, his expression steely as he aimed at the elevator doors.

The electronic display indicated the elevator's ascent: 24th floor... 25th floor... 26th floor...

Ding-dong!

The elevator reached its destination, and the doors gradually opened...
