C3 Great Mountains

It was hard to explain the whole story, and it seemed to have something to do with the Buddhist theory of cause and effect. I didn't know much about the details, and Zhao QIu had never explained it in detail. He simply told me that he didn't say anything further after that.

To be the taboo in this business, there were some things that could not be said, but could not be said. One could not allow even the slightest bit of discount. Otherwise, if he said what he shouldn't have said, it would bring him quite a bit of trouble.

Early the next morning, the sky lit up.

The iron fences in front of the shop were being knocked on by Zhao Qijiu. When he woke up, it was not even five o'clock yet. This kid was in a completely hasty manner, as if he would not rest until he woke me up.

I opened the door to the shop and saw Zhao QIu standing outside, holding a handful of Chinese rhubarb umbrella under his arm. He looked at me and said, "Qi Qiao, move faster. We still need to go into the mountains."

I replied, "Why are you in such a hurry? It shouldn't be a few minutes away."

Even though he said this, he did speed up his actions. Marriage and marriage was the same as a person's funeral. The hour could not be missed, or else one would always encounter one or another of these unfavorable circumstances. On the contrary, it would be unsightly.

He turned around and locked the anti-theft door. Although the security here had always been good, they still had to take precautions.

I looked at the deserted street and said to Zhao QIu, "Are we just going to walk through like this?"

He pointed to the intersection not far away in front of them and said, "Yesterday, I found a tractor. Let's sit at the foot of the mountain."

"That's more like it." Taking a closer look, there was indeed a black tractor parked at the intersection ahead.

Although this thing was quite powerful when sitting, it was still much easier than sitting on a leg. Most importantly, the road downhill was not easy to walk on. Perhaps only this kind of farm tractor could run that way. If it was a jeep, they might have been able to overturn the car with just a bit of speed.

The tractor was loud, and there were two small wooden chairs in the back for me and Zhao Qijiu to sit on. Sitting on top of a chair, I could feel the continuous vibrations making my ears and body itch, so I simply got up and leaned against the higher fences.

On the other hand, not only did Zhao QIu not seem to be affected by the shock, he even seemed to be humming a song with his eyes closed in pleasure. He looked very carefree. The Chinese rhubarb umbrella was still tightly grasped in his hand, and had no intention of relaxing in the slightest.

"Ol'nine, is it going to rain today?" I looked at the Chinese rhubarb umbrella. If it were to expand, it would still cover quite a considerable area, at least covering me and Zhao Qi.

While Zhao QIu was humming, his tempo was interrupted by a sudden question from me. "Ah?" He did not understand what was going on. He made a sound.

The tractor is so loud that I have to raise my voice and say, "Is it going to rain today? I think you should bring an umbrella. " I'm not in the habit of looking at weather reports. Besides, these days, the weather reports aren't accurate. Sometimes, they are not as accurate as experienced old people looking at the weather.

"No, I don't know if it's going to rain today. This umbrella isn't used to shelter people from the rain." Zhao QIu pointed at the old driver of the tractor and waved his hand, implying that there was someone else around.

"Alright, that would kill me." Sighing helplessly, I looked at the front and then at my watch. He estimated that it would take another half an hour at the foot of the mountain. He decided to sing a little tune like Zhao Qiujiu.

But I don't like this hometown of this kind of local play, it always makes me feel a little bit heartbroken when I sing it. I still like the program of Beijing Opera singing, it sounds very euphemistic, very like there is a kind of immersion in the charm.

Every time I hummed Beijing Opera, I would think about how this made Grandpa angry. Like most people in his hometown, his grandpa liked local scenes the most. He liked the old man, and he also liked the gentle man. In short, as long as it was his hometown drama, he liked it.

I didn't expect that this only grandson of mine would be biased in such an elegant manner.

Yes, an elegant hobby. On the side of our hometown, many people feel that the dialect is special and vulgar. Many people are proud to speak Mandarin and Beijing and Cantonese.

Just like the origin of the two words "Hua Xia", in this Weicheng, and even in the entire Hua Xia, very few people knew that our dialect was the most elegant language that the entire Hua Xia had ever heard.

According to historical records, from the Zhou Dynasty onwards, the Eastern Mansion language was known as the most elegant language. From the Qin and the Han dynasties to the Tang Dynasty, the royal family spoke the Eastern Mansion language. Even the dialects of the various regions were affected, and everyone carried an old Qin flavor.

This influence was so profound that it even affected the pronunciation of Mandarin later on. Furthermore, there was an island language far away from home that exuded this Old Qin flavor everywhere.

Saying something was one thing, but singing something or listening to something was another. Anyway, I can't get used to hearing the old ways and the various voices in this land, love Beijing Opera, as a child.

When they reached the foot of the mountain, the sky was already completely bright. I jumped down from the car and hurriedly opened the kettle to drink, feeling relieved. The journey was quite uncomfortable, and my ears kept itching from the tremors.

Zhao Qi paid for the car and agreed to meet us here around four in the morning when it rained. The driver smiled and drove the tractor away. He probably didn't expect that there would be someone who would spend money to ride the tractor.

On this land lived a group of simple people, their position and cultural background determined the kindness of Weicheng's people.

We are going to a place deep in the mountains called Fan Jia Village.

As the name implies, the people living in the village all have the surname of Fan. The entire village is considered relatives now. The person who kept looking down and looking up was either his Third Uncle or his Seventh Nephew. This kind of situation was very common in places like the Weicheng that were close to mountains.

The path up the mountain was not wide. At first, I could walk side by side with Zhao QIu, but the further up we went, the narrower the path became. The two of us only had one in front and one behind.

As for that Chinese rhubarb umbrella, just like before, it was held upside down under his armpit by Zhao Qijiu. The tip of the umbrella was towards the back, which forced me to put some distance between us, otherwise, if he suddenly stopped, the sharp tip of the umbrella would stab me in the face as we walked upwards.

Zhao QIu said that this Chinese rhubarb umbrella is needed to deal with things that might happen. As for what it is, he already told me about it earlier, so I'm afraid that it might be a little unstable on the way to marriage.

With that said, I roughly understood some of the uses of this Chinese rhubarb umbrella. This item must have been passed down from Zhao Qijiu's ancestors. The way the umbrella was acting now was very different from the way it was back then. It was not difficult to identify it at all.

However, the reason why I am certain that this umbrella is very old is not because of the structure of the umbrella but because I have always been able to sense a special aura from it. This feeling is very familiar to me.

This kind of aura was very similar to the feeling of an existence from Zhao QIu's body. It was unknown whether it was due to this large legacy umbrella affecting their family, or because their family had been nurturing this umbrella for many years.

But I am more inclined to the latter than to the latter.

If a Old Object could even change a person, then it would truly be too terrifying. I always felt that objects were objects after all. No matter how evil they were, in the end, they would still submit to the power of men.

Otherwise, after all these years, the red objects that had been pressing down on the underground space of the old mansion would have easily destroyed the roof.

Similarly, the 'Zheng Clan's Ancient Street' that I opened is also the same. I will eventually use various methods to turn some of those red items into antiques that can be traded for free.

For example, place it among many objects and use this living aura to gently evolve it.

This approach was the safest, but one flaw was that it took too much time. It took a long time, perhaps three or five years, or even seven or eight years, to 'peacefully evolve' an object that was stained red with blood.

I vaguely remember Grandfather's last night before he went to bed, vaguely mentioning that there was a piece of jade in our ancestor's body, something that seemed to have been fished out of a pool of blood soaked in the blood of ten thousand people. Later on, it was worn by the shopkeepers of every generation of the Zheng Clan's Ancient Street, and it started to be passed on from then on.

It was only when he reached his great-grandfather's generation that, for some unexpected reason, the piece of jade disappeared.

Cui had a very elegant name, 'Feng'.

Judging from the information and inherited books from his family, there should be a corresponding piece of the 'Phoenix' Jade.

However, for thousands of years, the 'phoenix' had never appeared, only an emerald green 'phoenix' lingered in the world.

That piece of jade had a special kind of magic. It could affect one's luck to a great extent, making one a favorite of luck.

It was said that the glory of the Zheng Clan was due to the disappearance of the verdure.

When Feng Fei left, Madam Zheng broke his wings and began to fall. In the end, he fell from the sky and landed on the ground with his body smashed into smithereens.

From then on, the Zheng family was forgotten by the world, and was replaced by a few ancient characters that it had always suppressed.

There was no sun to be seen in the mountains, and it only got more and more so the further one went.

There were even some tiny cracks in the wall where the light was rather dim. If there was any movement, it would feel rather creepy when one walked alone.

Looking at the time, it was almost seven o'clock. At this time, if they were outside the mountain, they would have already been able to see the red sun that was gradually rising from the east.

Outside the mountain, two worlds.

I suddenly thought of that sentence: Only by virtue of one's body in the mountain.

"Ol 'Nine, how far is it from here?"

After walking for a long time, I had lost my sense of direction. He followed behind Ol 'Nine's butt, trying his best to not say anything to conserve his energy. However, it had been almost an hour. Not to mention the village, there wasn't even a shadow of a soul to be seen.

More importantly, I realized that I really couldn't tell which direction was which. The feeling was very uncomfortable and uncomfortable, so I wanted to say something to dispel the feeling of depression in my heart.

Zhao Qi didn't stop. He raised his hand to check the time and said to me, "This should be about half the way to the mountain. I heard the few young children who invited me up say that we would have to walk for two hours after we entered the mountain."

"So you haven't been there yet!"

Zhao Qi's words made my heart skip a beat. If I walked the wrong path, I would not be able to leave this mountain, unless I had a good night's sleep with the Goddess of Luck. Otherwise, even if I had ten lives, I might not be able to leave.

Seemingly being able to see through my thoughts, Zhao Qi said without a care, "Qi Qiao, you can just relax for a hundred years, I won't lose you."

"I hope so."

I could only brace myself and continue following behind Zhao QIu.
