"Nate, please, I'm begging you to listen to me, I can't do that to your father," Beatrice begs as she cries and kneels in front of Nate. Beatrice is hurt because of what Nate said, and Nate is not listening to her, which makes her feel that she doesn't have anyone to listen to her.
