C7 Suicide Mission

"CPA (Certified Perfect Agent)?" said Carly, rounding her eyes.

The CPA is a secret army directly under Markopoulos' command, tasked with eliminating monsters.

The monsters can mimic the shape of the human body and have intelligence but cannot speak; each monster consists of various levels, namely iron, bronze, silver, gold, diamond, platinum, and Mythril.

The existence of these monsters is kept a secret by the Markopoulos government; the sector where many monsters appear is the Mali sector, which is the African continent. The Aetherians, there are very few and rare because monsters killed many.

The monsters initially appeared after Professor Bernard successfully opened the portal to the Mount Padang Site in the Babylon sector and spread to all sectors. Six sectors managed to close the portal, but one portal has left that releases mythril level monsters, namely in the Mali sector, to be precise, the South African country.

[Congratulations on getting 100 points for beating level 3]

"Wait, General. It is a suicide mission," Carly refused.

"You mean master?" asked Benedict with a curious look.

"The training ground for levelling up to CPA is killing monsters in the uninhabited sector of Mali, South Africa, to be precise. Are you ready?" Arthur asked. "If you are ready, sign this letter."

Benedict stroked his chin with wandering eyes, thinking carefully about this offer. After all, Benedict was still a rookie who didn't know how to fight.

"What are the conditions for me to pass this test?" asked Benedict with a sharp look in his eyes.

"You secure this area from monsters; a specialised lab belongs to the Markopoulos government. Take all the data and hand it over to us; if you succeed, we will immediately recommend you to join the CPA forces," Arthur said while pointing to a map of the free state, Eldridia, one of the regions in the state in South Africa.

"General, I accept, but give me at least a week to prepare, will you?" asked Benedict.

"Benedict, you've lost your mind!" snapped Carly.

"Master, calm down; believe me, I can return to this academy again, I promise. Please train me very seriously for this week," Benedict pleaded and knelt to Carly.

"All right, I'll agree to it. Prepare well!" said Arthur with a sly grin.

"I'll kill you too, just like I killed your parents, silly boy, hahaha." Arthur thought with an evil laugh.

Then the man continued, "I don't need to get my hands dirty anymore; you'll surely be torn to pieces by the monsters over there."

"Why did the general give Benedict this tough test? Even though my intention was only to level Benedict to soldier level so that he has better rations. Instead, he was given a level up to the CPA level. I have a bad feeling about this; I have to train Benedict to get strong in one week," Carly thought.

Benedict signed a mission letter to the Mali sector to retrieve Markopoulos' special lab research data. Carly and Benedict then left the secret room to Benedict's dormitory.

[Blangtungpak Blaem Blaem]

[Mission detected: defeat a Mythril-level azure dragon monster.]

[Deadline: -]

[Punishment: the master dies and cannot be reincarnated for 100 lifetimes.]

[Missions are automatically accepted and cannot be rejected]

"Mythril-level azure dragon?" Benedict's mind rounded.

Benedict had heard the Level of monsters from his father when he was five years old, that the strongest monster level was Mythril; you could say that Mythril-level monsters were monster bosses.

The next morning.

Early in the morning, before dawn, Benedict, Jacob, Jennifer, and Clara had gathered at the training field.

"Good morning, everyone!" greeted Carly.

"Morning, master!" the four of them replied in unison.

"This morning, we will train according to our job classes. I have seen and analysed all of you; Jennifer, you are a healer, tanker and assassin. Your training is to increase your stamina so that you can manoeuvre your support skills, increase your gravity training to 8 times like Benedict," Carly ordered.

"Clara, you are a striker, and your weapon is a sword; practice for you to improve the use of your sword from speed, accuracy, and strength. Take this!" added Carly as she handed over a weight-adjustable replica katana.

"Is this a sword, master?" asked Clara.

"This is a weight-adjustable katana. Set the weight to one tonne and swing the sword 100 times; increase it by one tonne each time," Carly instructed.

"Ready, master!" replied Clara and pressed the digital button on the sword hilt once, which meant 1 tonne.

"Jacob is a ranger type with the art of effect, even mastering summoner, necromancer, and wizard skills. Your training increases your energy usage and enlarges your energy reservoir so that it doesn't run out quickly, meditate under that waterfall!" Carly said as she pointed to the waterfall to the north.

"Yes, master!" replied Jacob, then bowed respectfully and headed towards the waterfall to the north.

"Don't go home before I wake you up!" Carly shouted at Jacob, who had walked some distance away from Carly. Jennifer was already walking like yesterday's practice, but her gravity load had increased eight times. Clara had started swinging the 1-tonne sword, although she struggled a bit.

"And you, Benedict, take this!" Carly gave him her small stone.

"But master..." Benedict's reply was cut short.

"Accept it already, and promise to come back. Let's practice using it. Channel your energy into the small stone!" Carly ordered.

[Small stone is an art of form. It is a type of weapon that can be transformed into any weapon according to the user's imagination. To change the shape of the weapon requires energy from the user; the greater the energy, the stronger the weapon that is formed]

[Juragan can only form one weapon type form with the current skipper energy, dark blaze]

Benedict forcefully channelled The Veil's energy into the small stone; he groaned continuously, "Argh, come on, change! Aaaaaargh!"

Benedict did not give up even though he could not turn the small stone into a dark blaze for 40 minutes.

"Why is it so hard? Damn it!" Benedict grumbled to himself.

"Close your eyes! Feel your mind into the small stone, feel every molecule that makes up the small stone under your command and flows The Veil's energy into the small stone and then command it!" Carly ordered.

Benedict, who had been groaning, was now silent and began to close his eyes as directed by Carly. Her heart and mind began to merge with Small Stone.
