C1 You Owe Me a Room!
The bustling street was filled with hurried crowds, but Gu Tianyi suddenly stopped in her tracks. Just six feet away, a newsstand displayed a large magazine with a glaring headline: "South City Tycoon Betrayed, Bride Disappears on Wedding Night."
With trembling hands, Gu Tianyi touched the magazine, her eyes fixed on the content. Her frown deepened as she realized the so-called insider story was completely false. A year had passed, yet the scandal still lingered. The city felt familiar, yet strangely foreign.
As she prepared to discard the fabricated magazine, she noticed the once-busy street had suddenly cleared, replaced by a group of bodyguards dressed in black. Her body tensed as the street fell silent, footsteps approaching from behind. She dared not turn around, feeling as if the air had become suffocating.
The footsteps halted abruptly, and a harsh voice pierced the silence, "Why aren't you running?"
Slowly turning her head, she saw a familiar face. His stern expression held no warmth, only simmering anger. Clutching the magazine tightly, she spun around and sprinted away as fast as she could. She never wanted to see this man again.
But the bodyguards stood in a line, blocking any escape. She was trapped.
"Catch her."
At the command, Gu Tianyi's shoulders were quickly seized, rendering her immobile. She looked up at the man she hadn't seen in a year. He approached slowly, gripping her chin with a firm hand.
"Gu Tianyi, do you still want to run?" His voice was low, yet chilling.
"Let me go," she shouted, calling out a name she hadn't spoken in a long time, "Ze."
Dongfang Ze curled his lips into a mischievous smile, his voice dripping with charm, "I'm not letting go."
Gu Tianyi's face turned pale with anger; this man's stubbornness left her utterly helpless.
"What do you want? What will it take for you to leave me alone?" she shouted, her voice strained.
The wicked grin on his face deepened as he released her chin, only to scoop her up in the next moment. It was a familiar embrace, yet within it, Gu Tianyi found no trace of the affection that once existed, only a faint sense of unease.
She squirmed, trying to break free, but Dongfang Ze's grip was strong. After struggling for a while, she realized her efforts were in vain.
His voice, filled with a sinister undertone, whispered in her ear, "Gu Tianyi, you owe me a wedding night. It's time to pay up."
Before she could resist, she was thrown onto the bed with a heavy thud.
She felt like a deer caught in the wolf's gaze, nowhere to run. Even so, she refused to give up without a fight. Curling up on the large bed, she clutched the blanket tightly, inching backward in search of a safe haven.
But the bed was only so big, and her retreat did nothing to stop Dongfang Ze from closing in. He leaned in, swiftly planting a kiss on her cheek.
Tianyi wiped her face in disgust, glaring at Dongfang Ze. "You're disgusting! Stay away from me..."
Her repulsion only fueled Dongfang Ze's anger. He grabbed her hand, pinning her down, his voice icy, "Gu Tianyi, I'm telling you, you owe me, and I want double in return."
Tianyi screamed in terror, "Dongfang Ze, just try touching me! If you dare, I won't hold back."
