C12 He Flipped the Window

That jerk, how long is he going to keep tormenting her?

Tianyi stared at the ceiling, her brow furrowed. Her emotions were a tangled mess, and she couldn't quite figure out how she felt about Dongfang Ze. Could she let him go, or was she still holding on? It felt like something was pricking at her heart, and she wondered when this thing with him would finally end.

After fastening the last button on his shirt, Dongfang Ze glanced at Tianyi but didn't say a word.

This guy is too much, she thought. He had just taken everything from her, and now he was acting as if they were strangers. She couldn't stand his attitude.

"Dongfang Ze, what do you want from me?" she shouted, her voice echoing through the room.

But he acted like he didn't hear her, continuing toward the door. As he opened it, he instructed the guard, "Without my orders, don't let Tianyi take a single step outside."

With that, the door shut tightly.

Tianyi heard his command loud and clear. Not letting her leave meant he intended to keep her trapped here. If that were the case, she'd be at a serious disadvantage.

Being locked up, with no freedom, and at his mercy whenever he chose to torment her—she felt like a bird in a cage, powerless.

No, she couldn't let that happen. She had to escape. The thought of his relentless torment filled her with fear, but the pain in her body only fueled her determination to get away.

Quickly dressing, Tianyi paced the room, searching for an escape route. Her eyes finally landed on the window.

It was the second floor. If she jumped, she probably wouldn't get seriously hurt.

She opened the window and slowly climbed onto the sill. Before jumping, she closed her eyes, her heart filled with unease.

If jumping down leads to any serious harm, then what? Despite the fear, she didn't want to stay here any longer, treated like a pet with no freedom.

With a mix of emotions, Tianyi took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and jumped.

She landed on the lawn below, surprisingly without the pain she had anticipated. Miraculously, she wasn't hurt. She got up, dusted herself off, and looked up at the second-floor window with a triumphant smile. "Ha! You thought you could trap me? No way."

Filled with excitement, Tianyi quickly fled the estate, vowing never to return to this dreadful place.

As soon as she opened the door, Gu Luo approached her.

Seeing Tianyi, he asked with a teasing grin, "Sis, those guys at the party were quite something, right? Did anyone catch your eye? I can help set you up."

Don't even mention that party. If it weren't for that, she wouldn't have been caught by Dongfang Ze.

Tianyi shot Gu Luo an annoyed look and firmly told him, "Brother, from now on, just stay out of my business, okay?"

"How can I not?" Gu Luo replied with genuine concern. "I'm your brother. Your business is my business. If I don't look out for you, who will?"

Even though Gu Luo meant well, Tianyi didn't want to engage with him any further.

She huffed, maintaining her dignified demeanor, gave Gu Luo a cold glance, and headed upstairs without another word. Little did Gu Luo know, her heart was filled with anger, all directed at Dongfang Ze.
