Xu Changming grabbed a napkin, anxiously dabbing at Tianyi's dress. He was so worried about her dress that his actions seemed a bit too intimate, though he didn’t notice it.

All of this was observed by Dongfang Ze. Tianyi had already upset him earlier, and he didn’t expect to walk in and see such a scene.

Dongfang Ze quickly strode over and grabbed Tianyi's hand, his voice cold as he commanded, "Come with me."

The sudden force left Tianyi bewildered. She looked up to meet Dongfang Ze's furious eyes, which seemed to hold enough anger to knock her out.

She hesitated for a moment, already being pulled toward the door by Dongfang Ze.

Soon, their path was blocked by Xu Changming.

Dongfang Ze's icy gaze swept over Xu Changming as he coldly said, "Move aside."

Xu Changming wasn’t intimidated by his chilly demeanor. Instead, he stood firmly in front of Dongfang Ze, resolute in his stance. "Tianyi didn’t say she wanted to go with you. You can't force her."

Dongfang Ze found this amusing. Where his woman went was not for outsiders to decide.

He scoffed, ignoring Xu Changming, and continued pulling Tianyi forward. Xu Changming stubbornly blocked his path again.

"Let go of Tianyi," Xu Changming ordered Dongfang Ze.

Dongfang Ze found it laughable. His voice was so cold it seemed to drop the temperature in the room several degrees.

"I'll say it one more time. Move."

Xu Changming stood his ground in front of Dongfang Ze, unafraid. He knew he loved this woman and wouldn’t allow another man to harm her in any way.

What Xu Changming didn’t expect was Dongfang Ze's violent reaction.

Seeing that Xu Changming had no intention of moving, Dongfang Ze lost all patience.

He swiftly kicked at Xu Changming's waist, and in an instant, Xu Changming fell to the ground in pain, clutching his waist in agony.

Tianyi watched Dongfang Ze's actions, her face turning pale with fear. She shook off Dongfang Ze's hand and hurried over to Xu Changming, grabbing his arm and asking anxiously, "Senior Brother Xu, are you okay? Are you hurt?"

Hearing his woman express such concern for another man made Dongfang Ze furious. He commanded coldly, "Tianyi, get up."

Tianyi looked up and shouted at him, "Go away! I don't want to see you."

He was a wealthy man from South City, yet he never expected to be yelled at by a woman like this. Everyone in the room turned their attention to them. Being shouted at by Tianyi made Dongfang Ze feel humiliated.

What Dongfang Ze didn't expect was that Tianyi helped Xu Changming up, apologizing anxiously, "Senior Brother Xu, I'm sorry. It's all my fault you got hurt."

Dongfang Ze hated seeing Tianyi so submissive. He walked over and grabbed her hand again. Tianyi instinctively tried to break free, but the more she struggled, the tighter Dongfang Ze's grip became, holding her in place.

Xu Changming couldn't stand it anymore and angrily shouted at Dongfang Ze, "What are you doing? Let go of Tianyi."

Dongfang Ze ignored Xu Changming's words, his gaze fixed on Tianyi. His eyes, bright like stars, held a hint of pain as he stared at her, making her heart tremble for a moment.

Tianyi thought Dongfang Ze was too much. How could he hit someone? How could he try to take her away in front of so many people? What was their relationship anyway? What gave him the right to treat her like this?

But at that moment, seeing the pain in his eyes, all her anger seemed to vanish in an instant.
