C19 He Was Really Disobedient!
His voice, filled with pain, echoed in her ears as he asked, "Tianyi, are you coming with me or not?" It seemed as though if she didn't go with him, his world would collapse.
It was a feeling Tianyi couldn't quite describe. She didn't respond, allowing Dongfang Ze to hold her hand tightly and lead her out of the room.
Xu Changming watched them leave, his brow furrowed. Though his confession had failed, he was determined not to give up. One day, he vowed, he would win Tianyi's heart.
Outside, the wind was a bit chilly. Dongfang Ze took off his jacket and gently draped it over Tianyi's shoulders. He then asked, "Do you really like that guy, Xu Changming?"
Just moments ago, the atmosphere had been quite pleasant. He knew she was cold, so he offered his jacket, which touched her heart a little. But the feeling lasted less than three seconds before Dongfang Ze's words irritated her.
Without hesitation, she swiftly took off the jacket he had put on her and tossed it back at him. She had been momentarily dazzled by his eyes, but the cold wind snapped her back to reality.
She and Dongfang Ze were impossible. If they were meant to be, they would have married a year ago and lived happily ever after, but they hadn't. Since they hadn't worked out a year ago, they wouldn't find happiness now.
Tianyi felt a tinge of sadness. Her heart held this man, yet she couldn't get close to him. She had to appear indifferent in front of him.
Angrily, she said to Dongfang Ze, "I do like guys like Xu Changming. Dongfang Ze, you have no say in my life. We're not connected anymore."
"You're so stubborn." Dongfang Ze ruffled her hair, not angry at her. Instead, a smile played on his lips. "Tianyi, remember, you're my woman. Don't even think about other men. Now, come home with me."
When Ze grabbed Tianyi's hand again, she reacted like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, using all her strength to shout at him.
"Ze, who do you think you are? What right do you have to interfere in my life? We're not connected anymore, don't you get it? Don't you know that you..."
"Your brother asked me to look after you," Ze interrupted before she could finish.
A perfectly reasonable excuse, one she couldn't argue against. Tianyi was frustrated to the core. Was her brother some kind of joker sent to make her life difficult? Why was he always complicating things for her?
"I don't need looking after, and I don't want to see you."
After breaking free from Ze's grip, Tianyi mustered all her strength and ran forward. She had one thought in her mind: to escape, to get far away, and never see this man again.
Watching her run away, Ze frowned slightly. What was he to her, really? Why did she seem so afraid of him? Why was she so desperate to flee just to avoid him?
Tianyi's reaction felt like a stab to Ze's heart, causing him real pain.
But Ze wasn't one to give up easily. If Tianyi wanted to run, he wouldn't hold back either. Even if she fled to the ends of the earth, he would bring her back.
Ze turned to his bodyguards and commanded, "Catch that woman for me."
