FIGHT IN OSBERT DARK

APARTMENT

This night, Osbert is returning home late from his office and he is talking to Selina on his phone

"What do you say happened to your mom?"

Osbert asked Selina

"She was rushed again to the hospital today, I am heading to the hospital now"

"That means you won't be able to come home tonight or are you coming?"

"No, I won't be able to come home because the doctor said her case this time is very critical!"

"Then I will come and join you there"

"No, don't come tonight, you can come tomorrow when you are returning from the office"

As he was talking to her he got to the door of his apartment, he opened the door and entered; but as he entered he perceived a scent that he knew doesn't belong in his apartment. Though this scent was faint but he picked it with his sensitive nose and knew this scent was not his nor that of Selina's perfume, rather it is that of another man's perfume.

Due to this he believed somebody has invaded his apartment and the person is still in the house. Because of this he did not switch on the light, rather he stayed by the door till his eyes perfectly adjusted to the darkness in the sitting room while he pretended to be engrossed with what he was sharing with the person he was talking to on his phone.

Once he could see clearly in the dark, he moved quietly to the double seater that is in his sitting room and lightly pressed the back of the chair which has a hidden save. The save opened and he picked a pistol from the place and gently close the save.

He now silently moved towards the inner part of his apartment, but just as he stepped through the adjoining door to this sitting room; a man leaped out of the dark upon him and knocked the pistol off his hand. The two of them began to wrestle to get to the pistol, but the man was too strong for Osbert.

When the man pinned Osbert down he suddenly said

"Bori I believe you will not wound me again tonight"

"So you know I am the invader and you took out your pistol, do you want to shoot me?"

As soon as Bori said this he eased his grip upon Osbert, so all this while Osbert was a partner that accompanied Bori to Ghana to nail Orikore and Bori was the one who attacked Selina at the park so that Osbert could be planted as a spy in her life. When Bori eased his grip upon him Osbert asked,

"Why did you change your perfume?"

"I purposely changed it to test your sensitivity and I give it to you because as faint as that scent is you were able to perceive it and you knew that someone is in your house"

Osbert replied him with annoyance

"Bori is high time you stopped your childish pranks, what if I unknowingly shoot you before you knocked the pistol off my hand?"

"It won't happen because I know you too well to allow you to shoot me"

"Anyway, just stop this your childish play because it is no more funny, I don't want us to accidentally wound each other. By the way what are you doing here? You know that Orikore's boys are hovering all around this place because he is sensing that I am a spy, moreover Selina herself may walk into you"

Bori answered and said

"You know I am not a careless person that will blow the cover of his partner"

"That means you know she will not be coming here this night?"

"Definitely, I saw her mother rushed to the hospital and I knew she will definitely rush to the place and stay with her since she is the woman's only child. So I decided to sneak into this place so that we can plan what to do when we go to her company's club house"

"Bori don't tell me you're still planning to gate crash into that place, I told you it is too risky for you to come in anyway close to that beast; he will definitely recognize you at one glance"

"Just tell me you are doubting my disguising skill, I have stood Infront of his face twice and he could not recognize me"

"Whatever, just forget about stepping into his den, you know he is already sensing that my relationship with Selina was not based on coinsidence. The only reason he did not make a move against me yet was due to the evil pranks you played when you stabbed me that night at the park while I was pretending to save Selina from you.

One side of his mind believe that you would not stabbed me if we were into a make believe role play. Even I myself was shocked when you stabbed me like that, I thought something had taken over your brain at that moment; and you know I am still feeling pain in my chest due to it!

"Sorry for your pain, I knew who we were dealing it, if we do not make the show nearly one hundred percent real he won't buy it. You can see it yourself, even with you stabbed he is still monitoring you to see if you purposely get closer to her secretary so that you can through her get close to him"

"Next time when you want to do such a thing it is better you warn me ahead"

"Well I don't pray that we should have a next time of this kind of events - I know myself that it is a scary thing to do to get close to a scary person without alerting him. Let us get this done quickly and return to Nigeria"

"Are you missing home?" Osbert asked Bori

"Why won't I, this Ghana is too boring for me, but I know you are enjoying yourself and you can't miss home because Selina is warming your bed every night; just don't knock her up"

"Relax bros, she can't get pregnant"

"I pray so, because I don't want you to leave a child that will be born to suffer because of lack of fatherly care behind in the hand of this lady"

"I won't!"
