BIG SECRET LEAKED

Saturday afternoon, Osbert dressed up and he was waiting for Selina to come so that he will accompany her to meet her boss in the company's club house as they earlier planned.

But when Selina came in she looked so dejected that Osbert asked her,

"Why do you come home looking so worn out and looking dejected and why do you come home this late when you know we have a place to go?"

"We are no more going to the club!"

"What do you mean by we are no more going to the club?"

"My boss is traveling"

"Traveling? Where is he traveling to?"

"He is going back home to Nigeria"

"You mean he is no more staying in Ghana?"

"No, he will return next week, I heard from the senior secretary that his father died in Nigeria and he must go back to do the burial since he was the old only male child of his parents"

"That's a pity, is that why you looked so down?"

"No, I was too stressed in the office today because he is traveling, he demanded that we do part of the works scheduled for next week today so that he could approve them before he travels"

"What are we going to do now?" Osbert asked Selina

"To do like how? Selina asked back"

"To refresh you and you should know I have been at home since morning and I am totally bored, let us find a place to go because I am not in the mood to stay indoors"

Hearing him Selina rolls her eyes and hissed and Osbert asked

"Why are you rolling your eyes at me and why do you hissed?"

"The excitement I had in the morning over this evening's outing had been snuffed out of me since morning when I heard that he is traveling, right now I just want to fall down on the bed and sleep!"

'But I don't want to stay indoors, let me take you somewhere; you will greatly enjoy yourself and get your fire back when we get there"

Selina rolled her eyes again and said

"Osbert please I am not in the mood to go out"

"Suit yourself then, you are the one who stirred up the desire to go out and hunt for club house fun in me and here you are now playing tiredness"

"I am sorry Osbert, it wasn't my fault fully, it was the news of my boss father sudden death that caused this, the man really loved his dad, he wept sourly when heard the news"

"How do you know his tears poured out because he loved his dad, may be his tears is due to something else"

"Is he not my boss? How will I not know when he is not himself? He just locked himself up in his office all through today"

"But is that not usual of him? Were you not the one who usually complain that he is always so cold and aloof to you people in normal days?"

"But this was different, he looked so broken and dejected when he came this morning"

Osbert closed the discussion about Orikore and said

"Anyway, that is his own matter, it has nothing to do with me, let him go and bury his dad, while he is away you will not be stressed as usual. Has he gone back to Nigeria?"

"No, he is taking night flight back to Nigeria tonight"

"I wish him safe journey, are you sure you don't want to follow me out to hunt for fun in one God knows where club?"

"No Osbert, I am totally worn out, moreso you know I am not the free social girl that love club life. Go, I will wait for you"

With this final word from Selina, Osbert moved out with joy because he really do not want Selina to go out with him since he has gotten what he needed from her.

The reason he has been having affair with her is so that he can through her get information that can lead to the arrest of Orikore.

What better information can he get than this, that Orikore will be traveling back to Nigeria where it will be so easy to arrest him.

With this big secret leaked unconsciously by Selina to him, he needs to go quickly to meet Bori so that they can plan how to tail Orikore and and arrest him the moment he step into Nigeria.

This was the reason he is so happy that Selina do not follow him out, as he stepped out he looked back at his place one more time because he knew this may be the last night he will see Selina.
