C4 COME HOME YOUR MOM IS SICK

Omoyemi stepped out of sir Boripe's world headquarters' tower with mixed feeling, on one side he is thanking God that in a matter of one month he will be here as full staff and he will put behind him the shame of been pushed about by the billionaire's heirs in the club where he is presently working as a waiter.

But on the other hand he was not happy because he have to work with the daughter while Ireni will work with the boss. To him he knows he who works with the boss is in a way a boss to all others in the organization.

For he will know the boss intimately more than the rest and the rest of the people will always go through him to get to the boss. Apart from this, he will have access to all the great men of the world that the boss will have access to; he will also have opportunity to travel with the boss to so many renowned sites that others will only read about in the book.

So, to him, working with the daughter of the boss is a half loaf which is better than non, but which in no way can ever be the full loaf! So he was both glad and sad because he knew he would have been the choice of the boss if he made it there as clean as Ireni.

With this in his mind he remembered the face of the girl who knocked him down in the morning and his blood boiled in his veins! How he wish he will see that girl to teach her a lesson that she won't forget in all her life!

On the flip side, while he painted pictures of terrible things he could do to that unrepentant wicked girl, he suddenly remembered the one who gave him the courage to go forward when all things around him told him to throw in the towel and go back home.

If not for her it would have been a total loss affair for him, remembering her now, he brought out his phone to call, thank and give her the report that things ended the way she said.

He searched his phone for her number and dial, his call was instantly picked by Itunu and he heard her sweet soothing voice, but she answered him with a joke, "Hey, husband of Lamborghini girl how are you?"

"Are you still trying to stop me from being your lover?" Omoyemi too jokingly answered

"I told you I am not available, talking about it again means you are looking for trouble"

"To look for your trouble I believe will be wonderful than to be pushed into the hand of that devil, so please don't push me into death because you don't want me or do you want to tell me you don't know that girl is a devil?"

Itunu replied, "You may not say, people have a way of appearing like a devil because of a compelling situation around them which may be unknown at the moment to us, when in the real sense they are angels!"

"Look, your preaching can't stop me from killing that girl if I see her, so save your saliva"

"I know, that is why I am talking to you about her, somehow I believe you will still meet that girl and I don't want you to overreact and cause irreparable trouble, by the way, how did it go in that office?"

Omoyemi answered, "It was as you said, I did not get the main job, but the man offered me a job with equal pay, though it lacked all the sumptuous opportunities embedded in the main job"

"Dear, life starts somewhere, be thankful unto God for this and he will lift you up from this one, when are you going to start work?

Omoyemi answered, " Not immediately, the man said they need to put some things in place, so my resumption will be in a month's time.

"I am happy for you and I thank God that you listened to my advise this morning and you courageously went there"

"That is why I am calling you now, I owe you a lot, if you were not there this morning like a God sent angel to encourage me, it would have been a total loss for me, I really, really appreciate you and I hope to see again soon and....."

Itunu cuts him short and said, "Sorry I have to cut now, my boss wants me, we will talk later"

Omoyemi said, "Okay I will call you later, how is your baby?

" He is in the company's daycare center and I know he is fine, bye" Itunu cut the call and Omoyemi put his phone back into his pocket with a bubbling spirit because listening to Itunu really lifted his spirit and he said, "What a lady, I will surely look for you!"

As he was thinking this his phone rings in his pocket and he brought it out, thinking it is Itunu that called back. But when he checked the phone, he saw that it was his uncle, who was his mother's junior brother.

Seeing this call his heart raced erratically because this man rarely call him, he knew immediately that something has happened to his mother.

So he picked it and asked straight, "Uncle good afternoon, did anything happen to my mother?"

"Why did you switched Off your phone? I have been trying to talk to you since morning, come home quickly your mother collapsed and we have rushed her to the hospital" his uncle told him

Hearing this news, it seemed as if it drained life out of him, he told his uncle that he went for a job interview and he could could not leave his phone on before the boss that was the reason the uncle could not get to him.

After explaining this to him the uncle impatiently said, "You need to come home quickly and please come with money, if not I don't know what will happen to your mother, the doctor said we must deposit one hundred thousand naira before he will attend to her and I do not have money"

Hearing this Omoyemi first thank God when he heard the money needed was just hundred thousand because sir Boripe just gave him two hundred and fifty thousand naira as compensation for all his troubles in the seven month interview.

Secondly, he thank God that he was knocked down by the Lamborghini girl this morning and by it was not picked for the PA job, because if he had been picked, how will he start work today and beg for a leave to go and attend to his mother?

Surely, he won't because of this job not go to take care of his mother who is unconscious in the hospital. He loved his mother too much to do that and he is the only one she has.

His mother suffered greatly to single handedly raised him. So many times she went without meals just to be able to save money to pay school fees. The result of those days of too many meals she skipped was the reason she is now having I'll health.

If she is this sick because she wanted him to become a worthwhile person in life, then he must not because he now wants to become a worthwhile person stay away from her.

So, he now admitted that all things sometimes works for good for people. Now he have money to take care of his mother and he have a whole month free to stay by her bedside in the hospital; at the end a good job will still be waiting for him.

With all these flashing through his mind in few seconds, he with calmness said to his uncle, "Uncle, it is night already, I cannot rush over now but I will send the money to you right away, please help me to look after her till I will come tomorrow.

When his uncle heard him he said, " Okay, send the money and please come early tomorrow "

With that the uncle cut the phone and Omoyemi went in search of a bank through which he will send the money.
