C7 I Am the One Who Made You Cry!

Faced with all the gossip, Shi Qing felt irritated, and even the sight of Soong Wanwan crying in front of her was annoying.

"Miss Soong, just make good use of what I don't want and stop jumping around in front of me. It's really childish," Shi Qing said, grabbing her bag and leaving.

Soong Wanwan watched her walk away, wiped away her tears, and looked toward a spot in the bushes where a red light glowed. "Let's see who comes out on top, shall we?"

---

Shi Qing found Qiao Jing among a group of handsome guys.

"Jing, I'm heading out," she said, feeling like this place wasn't worth her time and she'd rather just go home and sleep.

Qiao Jing was about to leave too, but a young guy behind them protested, "Hey, you show up and now Jing wants to leave. That's a bummer."

Shi Qing glanced at him, then gently pushed Qiao Jing back into her seat. "You've been helping me a lot lately, so enjoy yourself. I'm out."

As she stepped out the door, she ran into Lu Sinian.

Shi Qing couldn't help but think he must really like Soong Wanwan if he was here to personally pick her up from a party.

Shen Yi noticed her too and greeted politely, "Miss Shi."

"Assistant Shen, working late again? That's tough," she said, deliberately ignoring Lu Sinian.

Shen Yi just smiled, unfazed. "Just part of the job."

Lu Sinian, feeling overlooked, gave Shi Qing a once-over. Had she forgotten him after just one afternoon?

When Shi Qing noticed Lu Sinian staring at her, she turned away awkwardly. "Director Lu, Miss Soong is in there crying her eyes out. When you go in, she'll definitely say I made her cry."

She turned back to meet his gaze. "And, well, I did make her cry."

"You're refreshingly honest," Lu Sinian remarked just as Soong Wanwan rushed out.

Her eyes were red, but she tried to put on a brave face. "Sinian, you're here?" she said, tears already streaming as she leaned toward Lu Sinian.

Seeing this, Lu Sinian gently pushed her away and asked calmly, "Why are you crying?"

The question seemed to break the dam, and Soong Wanwan's tears flowed freely. "I'm fine, really. Please don't blame Miss Shi."

She then looked at Shi Qing. "Miss Shi, Sinian and I truly love each other. If you have any complaints, you can take it out on me. I can handle it."

Her cries drew attention from those nearby, making Shi Qing seem like the villain breaking up a fairy-tale romance.

Shi Qing frowned impatiently, crossing her arms as she addressed Soong Wanwan. "Miss Soong, I'm not about to get physical with you. Besides, if I'm done with something, you're welcome to it. Don't act like a victim when you're not."

Lu Sinian was taken aback by her words. What did she mean by "something I'm done with?"

"Shi Qing, watch your words," Lu Sinian said coldly.

Shi Qing was taken aback. Was Lu Sinian really going to lash out at her for Soong Wanwan? Then again, it made sense—she was just a stand-in, after all.

Beside them, Soong Wanwan quickly grabbed Lu Sinian's arm, crying, "Sinian, if there's any blame, let it fall on me. It's all my fault."

Lu Sinian, still fuming, pulled Soong Wanwan into a comforting embrace and said, "Don't cry. I'll take you home."

The two of them acting in sync made Shi Qing want to gag. Wasn't she the real victim here?

Before they could leave, Shi Qing couldn't help but sneer, "You two really are a perfect pair of a jerk and a doormat. If I'd known your love was so unbreakable, I would've stepped aside long ago to spare myself from this disgusting scene." With that, she walked away, feeling both nauseated and frustrated.

What kind of mistake had she made to deserve such punishment from the universe?
