Luka's POV

I was furious to hear the scent of my brother was recognized in Alpha Kade's pack and my father's in Alpha Asher's. The night after the discovery of the scents, two young girls were found next to a stream, all beaten up and bloody.

Once I heard about it , I knew it was that Sadistic father of mine. I hate him so much. He led to the death of my mother, trained me each day till my legs felt like jelly. He also murdered my best friend, Rick for reasons only known to him and claimed his body was found in the forest.

Time Skip To Morning

I stretch my arms over my head, curling my toes and yawn, enjoying the delightful cracking through my sleepy bones. I sit up and blink a few times, feeling my eyelashes faintly batting against my lids. I let out a second yawn and grin at the feeling of the morning sun peeping through my bedroom curtains. I love sunny mornings, waking up before the alarm, eager to start my day with a usual run with my Beta and close friend Tom.

I quickly brush my teeth and wash my face. I go to my closet and select a blue jogger, running sneakers and a black tank top. I hurry down the stairs to find Tom standing by the back door.

"Morning, bro" he says hitting my back playfully.

"Morning,I hope your ready? Wouldn't want any excuse after I win you again" I tease.

"You bet" he says before leaving.

Our slow jogging soon turns into a full sprint as we both shift into our wolves. My midnight black wolf Luan, playfully nudges Tom's wolf, Trevor in the back, giving us an advantage.

" Leah, you haven't still changed , you and your unending curiosity. I'll have the maid clean up the guest room for you" I say heading to my room.
