"Adira, Why are you still in this dress? Didn't I tell you to get ready before lunchtime? We will have to meet the Great Witch," Serene said as she walked into her daughter's chambers.

"When did you say?" Adira asked with wide eyes.

"I sent a maid," Serene said.

"But no maid came to me," Adira said.
